Awesome way to escape the crowds and see a little of the Naples countryside. Our guide Max made sure we were safe and happy. The wine was delicious, the lunch on the light side but all in all yummy. Would highly recommend. I only wish there was more :)

Fantastic bike ride through Pozzuoli! Alessandro is a great guide and along with the sites, he provided a history of Pozzuoli. Our stop at the Averno winery was a wonderful finish to the day! Looking forward another trip with Alesandro!

Out of the 3.5 weeks we spent in Italy, this was the top activity for me and my two friends. Alessandro with Mavin Bike Rent was a fantastic tour guide. He knew the area well, so was able to answer all of our annoying questions about the history of the area. The route was beautiful and easy on the peddle assisted bikes. Lunch at the vineyard was very tasty and perfectly satisfying. Overall was a 10/10 experience and we would recommend to all our friends to go as well.

We are more adventure travelers instead of "vacationers" so it made sense that we thoroughly enjoyed our time with Mavin Bike Rentals in Naples/Napoli. We learned a lot and recommend the tour to anyone else that values learning and exercise. This was a great alternative to cruise ship excursions in our opinion.

It was fun , casual cycling trip. Some great stops at historical places and cellar Max had great knowledge. The vineyard was nice but I would say the ‘lunch ‘ was more stack (tomato bread/ a ham & cheese folded pizza loaf thing / olives / small cubs of cheese / olive oil bread bits ) than a full lunch. I would also say there was confusing guidance on pace - one Minuit it’s ok to ‘go fast ‘ but when you do your told to slow down ! One of the group of we had crashed into me and a parked car - and the guide was not aware or supported them ( maybe cycle alongside them ?). But overall nice route and fun ways to spend the day with great scenery and knowledge from guide.

Our guide, Max was superb-lovely guy with loads of interesting info on the beautiful area we cycled through and made us feel really safe on the roads sections, hitting just the right pace for us. The vineyard was stunning, lunch delicious, and wine so good we bought a load to take home with us! All in all a wonderful experience and stark contrast to the bustle and busyness of Naples and Capri.

So nice, we may do it twice!

Our guide, Alexander, was pleasant and affable, also very knowledgeable about the history and culture of Naples. The bike ride along the water, and around the old city included a handful of stops along the way to the vineyard for brief history lessons, sightseeing and observing ancient ruins within the city limits. The 20-30 minute ride each way was manageable for all skill/fitness levels. The vineyard seems to come from out of nowhere, (adjacent to a lake formed by volcanic activity just beyond an old industrial area) and the family owned operation has been producing a red and white varietal, both of which were outstanding, for seven generations. Some of their vines are over 200 years old!! I would classify the lunch as “light” with some cheese, olives, ham and cheese filled dough, focaccia with red sauce and taralli (breadsticks), all of which were delicious. I did this ride with my 23 year old daughter and she enjoyed as much, if not more than I did. Also a really cute pup and some cats living on the vineyard provide some entertainment as well. I highly recommend enjoying this activity individually or with family and friends.

A great way to see more outside the centre of Naples. Beautiful scenery to easily cycle through using the e-bikes. Lovely family-run vineyard with 2 glasses of wine and nibbles. It did say on the booking there would be a meal but this was only nibbles/appetisers.

Unique bike riding experience through Naples and along the coast to a lovely vineyard. The scenery was a highlight and our tour guide was fun and informative. The vineyard provided light snacks and a sampling of two wines. We enjoyed the refreshments in a small patio under an arbor of grape vines overlooking the vineyard and a lake in the distance. It was a nice respite after biking the roads through the towns/city to get there, and worth the journey. The pedal assist bike was easy to use, which was appreciated as this was my first experience with an electric bike. We made several stops along the way to view and appreciate the scenery around us. My adult daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. However, be advised that this tour travels along main roads with moving vehicles and may not be suitable for some. In truth, if I had known this I most likely would not have booked this tour so I’m very glad I didn’t know, because it was a wonderful experience and is a highlight of our time in Naples.

We had a great time on this Bike/Wine tour! They picked us up at our Airbnb, fitted us for our excellent Ebikes. Alexander was a great tour guide sharing history of several archeological sites and scenic views! Then we went to the winery, met new friends and shared their Red and white wine with appetizers!! This was by far the best experience we had in Naples. If it is hot I'd recommend bringing water bottle!

With the e bike/ pedal assist anyone can do it! I was very nervous ( I dislike biking ) but the bikes were easy to use. Alexandro was a great tour guide- we saw Roman ruins including an amphitheater ! Would do it again !

A very interesting and informative tour, a great alternative to visiting the usual tourist spots in Naples. We arrived for the day via cruise ship and had plenty of time after the tour without worrying about missing the all aboard time. This is sometimes we heavily consider when booking independent tours so even though this overrun by a bit (not complaining on this part for sure) we still had 3/4 hours after to see other things. Just to mention, Max and Guido are fantastic and patient individuals who are clearly used to all size of groups, ages and know how to motivate the more physically challenged people in the group to ensure there is a good pace but people are comfortable. The tour started with a quick drive from the pick up point not far from the dock where we were given a once over as to how the e-bikes worked and how to change the set up. Once done we set off to begin the tour. We stopped at various points to see some ancient sites, learn about the area and the sulphur volcanoes. After this we went to the vineyard just off a beautiful lake. Local foods were prepared for us by the owner and we got to try some of the wines made here. We were able to buy a few bottles for a reasonable price to take home. The return leg took us up to a larger volcano and to a vantage point over the previous route - the views were incredible. We then headed back to the starting point to get the transfer back to the port. This was such a great way to see areas we would not normally see and to explore local hidden gems. 2 things to note if considering this - a lot of the cycling is on the roads of Naples. This may seem scary at first but drivers are used to cyclists so safe enough, but might not be for everyone. Max made sure we were all safe and at no point did we feel unsafe. The second thing is the distance the tour covers and physical level needed to do this. The assisted bikes are great, so for us it was fine but if you have any mobility issues then this is not for you and you should consider a tour by car. I believe the total area covered was around 30km but again the assisted bikes made this really manageable. Would absolutely recommend this to those considering booking. Thanks again guys we had such a good day.

We ended up on a private tour with the best tour guide we have ever had on Viator! Max was not only very knowledgeable about the area and history, he really got to know us and catered the tour for us. He is amazing. The owner, Guido, picked us up at our hotel which was a nice touch. The vineyard visit with Vanna and Nicoli was sensational. We learned so much and had an amazing lunch and wine pairings with a beautiful lake as a backdrop. This was our favorite tour through Viator out of 5 booked for this week in Italy! Thank you to Max, Guido, and team!

The best tour I’ve ever done!! Our guide Alessandro was fantastic- he was very knowledgeable and he clearly was experienced dealing with all kinds of personalities to make the group feel welcomed and connected. We got picked up right from our hotel and it was so easy to go there and back. The bikes worked perfectly and the wine was delicious and also the food. Our tour guide’s passion shown through every step of the way. If I could do this tour again I would do it every day!! 1000/10 rating!

This activity was excellent. Alessandro, our guide, was exceptional and spoke perfect English. From the moment of pick up, everything was amazing. There were lots of stopping points where we were given historical or local information and the final destination, the vineyard, was the icing on the cake. The lunch was light and substantial and the wine was delicious with an opportunity to buy. The trip was much more than we had expected.

This was an excellent experience. The ebikes make it easy to pedal along taking in the sights of your surroundings as we made our way to the vineyard. And the vineyard was delightful! We heard about this tour from friends we made at a pizza cooking class. And so glad we decided to book it. It was a scenic and easy going ride, complemented by delicious wine and local fare. Our guide Alessandro presented local historical details and answered all our random questions about the beach and local customs. We recommend this tour if you’re looking to get out of the city for some fresh air, lovely views and refreshing wine that can only be found at the vineyard (we considered it an exclusive element!) Guido’s pick up and drop off also made it easy to start and end the tour without any drama!

We did this trip off of a cruise. It was outstanding !!!!! The driver reached out and contact me today prior and picked us up right on time. We went to the bike shop. We received our bicycles and helmets. Be advised they did not have water so we had to purchase water upon arrival which was not a big deal. we had a fantastic ride on these great bikes. It was outstanding. We had several stops where the guide showed us various historical tidbits about the city. The winery had multiple bottles of wine and Italian food. It was excellent. We rode back a little tipsy, but safe. It was a great trip and I would highly recommended anybody.
