Sasa was sn amazing tour guide in Pompeii. He was considerate of our comfort and gave extensive knowledge of the ancient city. He allowed rest room breaks and chatted easily with the people. Overall, an incredible site to visit with a very awesome guide.

Do not miss this. If you go in summer the lines could be ages in the heat if you don't skip the line plus the guides are excellent. Sasa was fab! We were so lucky to be Able to see the reconstructed villa. The city is easy to imagine as a vibrant port and teenagers and preteens should really get a lot from it. April was a great time to go!

Our Pompeii guided tour from Naples turned out to be an unexpectedly special experience. We booked the late afternoon option, which ended up being far less crowded than earlier time slots—something we’d highly recommend.
Due to a few last-minute cancellations, my wife and I ended up having the entire tour to ourselves. We were initially worried the tour might be cancelled altogether, but thankfully it went ahead, and it felt like a private tour through history.
Our guide, Frankie, was outstanding. His knowledge of Pompeii was incredibly deep, and he communicated everything clearly in excellent English. He answered all of our questions with patience and insight, adding context and stories that really brought the ruins to life.
Exploring Pompeii in a quieter setting, with such a passionate and engaging guide, made the experience feel personal and immersive. It’s something we’ll remember for a long time. Highly recommended!

My small group (my family plus 4 others) learned so much from Angelo! How lucky are we that he is a Volcanologist. He stuck to the facts and left out the myths. This is just what I wanted for my children. They learned more from Angelo than they will in school when they study Pompeii.

During this tour our guide, Frankie, told us about the history of Pompei, the eruption of Vesuvius in the year 79 (and other eruptions), and the consequences. Frankie also explained the daily lifes of Pompei’s inhabitants, hierarchies, enginering of the Romans, gossips and other funny aspects of the community. He answered all the questions the group members asked, he was patient and agreable and guided us through the site with a perfect rythm. Frankie is an extremely qualified guide and his English is remarkably good. The transfer was confortable. I had understood that a bottle of water was included, so I didn’t bring any, but we didn’t get any water.

What an amazing experience. Our guide Frankie look us back 2000 years plus to set the scene on how life was lived all those centuries ago. His explanations allowed us to imagine the daily life and experiences of the residents of Pompei. The architecture and engineering is something to behold. Everyone should do this visit at least once. Frankie our tour guide was so nice and knowledgeable. The entire experience was curated beautifully, pick up and drop off was very smooth, comfortable, and the actual location is incredible. When you put everything together? I would highly recommend this tour again and again. I was based in Rome, I took the inter-city train for two hours, made a day of it, and I thought it was well worth the adventure.

Excellent guided tour of pompeii. Pickup was conveniently located near the main train station. Our guide Sasa was informative and entertaining. He took care of us and made sure that all our questions were answered and did not rush us. We appreciated that he was mindful of elderly people on our group. We go to see all the important sights and were dropped back at the train station. The whole tour took around 3 hours
