It was such a perfect way to see Pompeii in the short time we had. Very well organized, good communication from the company and excellent guide. Angelo spoke excellent English and was very knowledgable. He gave us a great deal of information in an interesting way and answered all the many questions group members had.
Angelo did a wonderful job of sharing the remarkable sites of Pompeii. His english was exceptional, great sense of humour, good pace. Booking this tour was a good efficient visit if you are pressed for time in Naples. Thank you!
Our guide, Frankie, was fantastic! He was funny, made sure we stayed in the shade when he was explaining things, and was extremely knowledgeable. The entire trip from Naples was well organized, and the vans well air conditioned. One of the best tours we took in Italy & would highly recommend.

We took the pompeii tour with Frankie and what a guy. He was very funny but also incredibly knowledgeable. He did some small things that made a huge difference like keeping us in the shade as often as possible, walking us through places pointing out small details that we otherwise may have not noticed, and gave us a gift at the end of the tour and boy was He entertaining. Pompeii is such an amazing city and if you're planning on visiting not only would I recommend it, I would strongly recommend you request Franky as your guide, what a wonderful person and so much valuable knowledge and information in the tour. I promise you'll never forget him or the experience you had with him. He is that good!

Visiting the site is so fascinating. Our guide Alberto was great. He took his time explaining and answering any questions we had. We were very lucky to have a small group so we could linger at some sites longer. Going on a Sunday was not quite as crowded good for us.
Definitely would recommend this tour. Fascinating.

Answered all of our questions, gave us a wonderful view of how life was back then. I would go again. Lots of uneven walking on old rocks for streets so wear good support shoes and bring water.

Marvelous experience with the one and only Frankie. Driver was kind and every part truly enjoyable. Frankie, our guide was very knowledgeable and knew all the tips and tricks to make the tour absolutely memorable. Very well recommended experience.

The bus from Naples picks you up in front of a hotel, there are a least 3 tour groups that meet at the same location. the drive takes about 30 minutes, and they drop you off at the snack bar and restaurant where you can use the bathroom and get something to eat before your tour starts. There are souvenirs there, but the tour will also include going to the museum store at the end.
Our guide, James, met us shortly after we arrived and took us though a lot of the major points in Pompeii. James had been around Pompeii most of his life and his mother was a professor and archeologist at the site - he had all the good info and best stories. He did a fantastic job, and we will always remember him and his stories that made the ancient world come to life. Thanks James and thank you for sharing your story of beloved kitten Mitchy with us.

The guide Sasa was really sweet and knew so much about Pompeii. It also was just the right amount of time - about two hours in the heat which we didn’t need any more!

Pickup was late 1.5 hrs. Got a lame excuse that driver had a flat tire. Put us with next scheduled tour. Would not take this tour!

We have all the conversations where we communicated with you without causing you any inconvenience. The driver picked you up at 9:15, and the tour with Frankie was perfect, as always. You asked for a refund for non-existent reasons, and since it was refused, you made up lies to write a negative review. This is very unfair. It's a shame that conversations can't be published.
Incredible site, amazing experience, very informative tour and our guide was wonderful. Will definitely be back to see what more recent excavations produce.

The tour with our Guide Frankie was excellent. Pick up in Rome was easy to find. Our only angst was we had to get to the airport for a flight and when we got out of Pompeii to the pick up area, we were not sure how to get a ride back to the city we found somebody who coordinated getting us a ride, which was fine. Would suggest they include directions for leaving Pompeii also.

The experience was the two hour guided tour with Antonio, and he pitched it perfectly. His additional knowledge as a volcanologist meant that no questions were beyond him.
He was knowledgeable, considerate and humourous too ensuring that everyone got what they wanted from the experience.
The pick up and drop off process near to the railway station was also well organised.

This tour to Pompeii with the tour guide Franky was fully immersive. The stories he told and the history and knowledge that he shared was as though we were there in Pompeii 1,790 years ago when the eruption occurred.

Company picks you up in front of Ramada hotel (which they dont tell you; driver not wearing company shirt or carrying sign.) Driver was kind of curt. They make you wait an additional 40 min to start the tour with no place to sit unless you get something from the café but you wont have access to bathrooms for another 3 hrs so good luck.
Franky our guide was wonderful though and the site is definitely worth a visit. Bring a up umbrella in the summer. Its hot and little shade.

Ana took us round part of Pompeii in very high temperatures but made it fun, interesting....and also managed to find us some shade!! 🥳 A great trip with loads of fun facts....and even though we didn't have time to see it all, we thoroughly enjoyed how Ana brought the city to life for us. Thank you!

This tour was perfect for experiencing Pompeii. The van transportation arrived on time and we arrived at Pompeii where we were met by the guide coordinator. He placed us with our guide Sasa and were on our way as soon as the gates opened. (Recommend taking an early tour if you are in the summer months.) Sasa was excellent avoiding the crowds inside and extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter. We ended our tour and were taken back to our transfer van. Highly recommend this tour. We covered a lot of ground for only having 2 hours inside. I believe you could spend days and not see everything so do not expect to see everything there is to see.

Fun and educational tour. Our guide was outstanding. She had a great personality and made it fun. I was a little apprehensive about booking a tour outside of the cruise line. But Viator does not price gauge like the ships so I saved $200.

This was an amazing tour. Frankie was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and engaging. He told jokes, but also fielded some very educated questions with ease. He seems to love his job and his infectious joy had everyone smiling during the tour despite the 90-degree weather. Pompeii is an amazing place. My teens really enjoyed it as well.

The driver and guide were really nice but I couldn't give it 5 stars for 2 reasons. The meeting spot was so far from the port. Our group of 8 had to take 2 taxis which were hard to hail down once you walk across the street from the port. It cost us 40 euros each way just to the meeting spot. As for the guide, it would be better if she had a mic with headphones for us since it was hard to hear sometimes. She also explained too much detail which is hard to listen to when it's excruciatingly hot and you cant hear everything.

Dear customer, when you booked the tour, you saw the meeting point address. We didn't ask you to book the tour and then you complained. This isn't fair to us. We can't deserve 3 stars for something that wasn't our fault. Next time, just read and use Google Maps to check.
We were driven to pompeii from Naples by a friendly driver who got us there quickly. Our tour guide Sassa was fantastic . He was friendly and knowledgeable. He cared that we had a great experience. He was pleasant . Respectful. And funny . He made the history and wonders of pompeii great .

Angelo was an amazing tour guide on our visit to Pompeii. Extremely knowledgeable, especially since he is a volcanologist, a fact my family greatly appreciated! He willingly shared his deep expertise of volcanos with the group in addition to what has been discovered about the history of Pompeii itself. Cannot recommend Angelo enough!
