We had a wonderful experience on our Pompeii tour. Our tour guide, Anna, was outstanding and was able to make the tour interesting for all ages. We learned so many wonderful things about Pompeii, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to Pompeii.

This tour was perfect for experiencing Pompeii. The van transportation arrived on time and we arrived at Pompeii where we were met by the guide coordinator. He placed us with our guide Sasa and were on our way as soon as the gates opened. (Recommend taking an early tour if you are in the summer months.) Sasa was excellent avoiding the crowds inside and extremely knowledgeable on the subject matter. We ended our tour and were taken back to our transfer van. Highly recommend this tour. We covered a lot of ground for only having 2 hours inside. I believe you could spend days and not see everything so do not expect to see everything there is to see.

At the site, Angelo, our expert tour leader, was awesome. He shared his valuable knowledge with us through a really comfortable itinerary on Pompeii. I totally recommend this tour.

Fun and educational tour. Our guide was outstanding. She had a great personality and made it fun. I was a little apprehensive about booking a tour outside of the cruise line. But Viator does not price gauge like the ships so I saved $200.

This was an amazing tour. Frankie was our guide and he was so knowledgeable and engaging. He told jokes, but also fielded some very educated questions with ease. He seems to love his job and his infectious joy had everyone smiling during the tour despite the 90-degree weather. Pompeii is an amazing place. My teens really enjoyed it as well.

The driver and guide were really nice but I couldn't give it 5 stars for 2 reasons. The meeting spot was so far from the port. Our group of 8 had to take 2 taxis which were hard to hail down once you walk across the street from the port. It cost us 40 euros each way just to the meeting spot. As for the guide, it would be better if she had a mic with headphones for us since it was hard to hear sometimes. She also explained too much detail which is hard to listen to when it's excruciatingly hot and you cant hear everything.

Dear customer, when you booked the tour, you saw the meeting point address. We didn't ask you to book the tour and then you complained. This isn't fair to us. We can't deserve 3 stars for something that wasn't our fault. Next time, just read and use Google Maps to check.

We were driven to pompeii from Naples by a friendly driver who got us there quickly. Our tour guide Sassa was fantastic . He was friendly and knowledgeable. He cared that we had a great experience. He was pleasant . Respectful. And funny . He made the history and wonders of pompeii great .

Angelo was an amazing tour guide on our visit to Pompeii. Extremely knowledgeable, especially since he is a volcanologist, a fact my family greatly appreciated! He willingly shared his deep expertise of volcanos with the group in addition to what has been discovered about the history of Pompeii itself. Cannot recommend Angelo enough!

We took the earliest tour to try and beat the heat; but make sure to bring umbrellas, hats and lots of water! Pick up and drive was fine. We took one of the shorter tours which didn't include ALL of Pompeii- we missed seeing things like the amphitheater. I don't think we could have managed much more though because of the sun. Giacomo clearly has a passion for the history of Pompeii and was a good guide! We got in A LOT in 2 hours!

Amazing trip, 2 hours is not enough, if you want to see it all plan to spend at least 6-8 hours. Our tour guide James ( giacamo) was amazing. He got us to all the highlights as well as kept moving us from shade to shade as well as being incredibly knowledgeable. Also huge shout out to the organization. Pick up and drop off was clean and quick. Would have liked some time to go to the gift shop is my only negative.

Ms. Anna B. was an excellent tour guide, providing special insights into the life and times of the population living over 2,000 years ago!! Her knowledge of the culture and traditions brought the Tour experience to life for our group. She was also kind and compassionate to the differing needs of our large family group with ages ranging from 83 to 13 years!

The tour was informative and Anna constantly adjusted our routes within Pompeii based on crowds. She also found shady spots for us whenever she would be talking longer. She was very knowledgeable and we learned a lot.

Our guide, Sasa was very good and humerus. Tour lasted 2 1/2 hours which for me was a bit too long. Also, it was billed as small group but I don’t consider 30 participants small. Overall though, good experience for the price.

Seamless process from start to finish. No issues with transportation to and from the site. Our Pompeii guide Francesca( sorry if I spelled that wrong) was wonderful and made whole experience extremely enjoyable. My only suggestion is to include a Cruise port pick up and drop off option.

The pickup was a 45 minute walk from the cruise port or needed to pay an additional $20 USD. We walked. It was extremely hot and humid and the route was disgusting. Trash, decaying buildings and very sketchy neighborhood. The bus was hot and condensation was leaking from the overhead vents.
Once we were there, however, our actual site guide, Angelo, was outstanding! He was very kind and conscientious of his group. He recommended many questions and had a very thorough knowledge of the ancient city.
Then, when the tour ended, it got worse again. The tour ended and our shuttle back to the hotel was 45 minutes late. We were forced to stand in the hot sun along a crowded sidewalk because the adjoining restaurant was for paying customers only. They kept saying, just 5 more minutes. When I suggested as a good will gester for forcing us to stand and wait that they drop us off at the cruise port, she blatantly said No, the hotel only. Quite rude and no accommodation or even consideration.
A fellow cruiser approached the bus driver and we paid him a few extra Euro to take us to the actual cruise port rather then walk or pay for a Uber. He gratefully obliged and we were so grateful.
Sorry for the long review. Be aware before booking with this tour company.

Dear customer, we didn't ask or force you to walk to avoid spending money on a taxi. The tour description states that the meeting point is not the port. The garbage and the seedy neighborhoods are not our fault, even though Naples is beautiful and certainly not as you described. The bus delay due to traffic is our fault, although we can't do anything about it; it happens every now and then when there are so many cruise ships.
We're glad the guide was great. As for the rest, writing about staying away from our company seems a bit exaggerated, don't you think? 97% of our customers are very satisfied with our tours; mistakes happen to everyone every now and then.

Our guide (Francesca) was PHENOMENAL - she was knowledgeable, friendly, and hilarious. She checked in on every member of the group throughout the walking tour. I learned so much from her!! However transportation to and from Pompeii left a lot to be desired. Our shuttle back to Naples was over an hour late, leaving us standing in the hot Pompeii sun. Francesca and other staff had to call multiple times to find out where they were. The three hour trip turned into five hours, getting us back to Naples well after 2pm instead of the anticipated 12:30. Not great when you have a cruise ship to catch. So tour two thumbs way up - transport needs improvement. Make sure to give yourself a few extra hours if you’re coming from a cruise.

As a solo traveller, small-group tours like this makes my life much easier. I was very lucky to go on this tour with a lovely family of three from the United States, making it almost feel like a private tour. The driver is friendly and funny, so is our guide Frankie. Frankie orchestrated the tour very well, he helped paint a picture of the public and private life of the Romans while providing interesting details along the way. Highly recommend visiting Pompeii in the afternoon to avoid the crowds and enjoy the sea breeze.

We toured Pompeii on a cruise ship excursion with Anna as our tour guide. Her tour was impactful and impressive, with the detail and care she had for depicting life in Pompeii before and after the eruption. I would recommend this excursion over and over. It was more than history is was a true dedication and care for her town that she wanted to share.
Transportation to/from the Ramada to Pompeii was very easy and accommodating.
Not excursion-related. The meeting point at the Ramada is a 40 minute walk or a $40 cab ride (cash).

This tour is amazing and if you get the chance to tour Pompeii ask for Frankie to be your guide. He has a wonderful personality coupled with extensive knowledge of the area. We enjoyed being on a smaller tour that made the experience feel more intimate and manageable. This might have been our favorite tour of our two-week vacation to Italy and Greece. I am sure that having Frankie as our guide made all the difference. Book this tour, you will not regret it.

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish drivers were amazing only downside was pick up point was tiny bit confusing but got there okay to guide absolutely fabulous and full of knowledge and was willing to go at our pace rather than get his timing and would thoroughly recommend to anyone to book this store through this app as the tour guide I cannot praise enough
