Enjoy the food but don’t expect a lot of history

We stopped for food or drink at 6 different places. The first two - where we had chowder and a fish taco - were excellent. The wine tasting was brief and limited. We enjoyed the honey tasting and ice cream. Could have skipped the stop for bao. Our guide was pleasant but didn’t seem very knowledgable about the history of the area and wasn’t able to answer several of our questions. We take this weird for local historical knowledge and actually learned more just by reading the information signs in the area.
