Your ebike tour of Pacific Grove begins when you meet your guide at Big Sur Adventures, the 17 Mile Dive Shop near Asilomar State Beach. Get acquainted with your riding buddy, strap on a provided helmet, slide on your cycling gloves, and strap a free bottle of water to your ebike.
Ride along the beach, watching sunseekers soak up the rays and taking photos of the dazzling Pacific waves. Get your legs warmed up to travel down more than half of 17-Mile Drive’s oceanfront pathways.
Dozens of sites pass by as you ride, including China Rock, Fan Shell Beach, Crocker Grove, and the Ghost Tree lookout point. Finally, end your trip with a stop at Pebble Beach Market before riding back to the meeting point along Pacific Grove Oceanview Boulevard.

Our tour was such a blast! Victor, our guide, taught us so much about the plants, animals, geography, and history of the Monterey coastline! Three out of four in our family had never ridden an electric bike. The whole staff was so patient teaching us and giving us time to feel confident on the bikes. They are zippy and so much fun! I would recommend this tour to anyone. The views were amazing and there were many stops along the way to teach us about the region. We went on the beginner’s ride. Tours are offered for more experienced riders too!

This was probably the best bike tour I have ever taken. The scenery along the Pebble Beach coast was amazing and the tour guide was pleasant, informative, and didn’t provide too much detail.. I would recommend this tour 10/10.

Had so much fun biking 17-mile drive! Can’t leave Monterey/Carmel without experiencing this tour. Check-in was easy, and I was set up with an e-bike per my preference. We lucked out with a gorgeous 70 degree, sunny day in late January, which we found out to be pretty exceptional weather wise🤗. But our luckiest break was getting Zane, as our guide. He was very nice, very accommodating and very passionate about California’s biology, taking time to teach us about the local wild life. It was an exceptional and memorable day. Thx, Zane👍🏼

First 17 mile drive is gorgeous and so much better on a bike.
2nd the guided tour gave us great info, and I love not having to worry about direction or where to stop or timing.
3rd the e-bikes made this a much more enjoyable ride. They were comfy and easy to operate.

Do it! This was the best part of our trip to Monterey!! The bikes are so fun to ride, the views are amazing, the guide Suzy is amazing! It couldn’t have been better! Suzy made sure we were safe, letting us know where we needed to take it slow, watch for cars not stopping, etc! She also took amazing pics of my husband & I! The history she provided on the area was so interesting too! We debated just renting bikes but the tour by Suzy made it 1000x better & safer!

Our e-bike experience was led by our tour guide Suzy on a gorgeous day along the California coast - she was informative and chill! She made sure all of us were comfortable on the bikes before we left the shop, and took time to stop at any intersections that might pose a risk to make sure we knew how to proceed safely. This was a great way to explore the 17 mile coastline. Our tour guide, Zane couldn’t have been more helpful with our small group. He made sure we knew how to use e-bikes before we started off. Provided helmets, gloves if you wanted them, snacks and water and we were off! We meandered along the coast and had a few stops for photo ops while Zane provided us with some interesting facts too. E-bikes are great; pedal all you want or just let the bike do the work for you. I highly recommend this company and Zane!

This is the very best possible way to see the gorgeous scenery around 17 Mile Drive! Being on a bike made it so easy to tuck in and have a look around. Suzy was a fabulous guide - her love of the area and the wildlife were infectious. She also gave great instructions about the roads so we were all very safe but still had a ton of fun.
