      Petroglyph Tour

      Angela_E, Jul 2025
The leader was EXTREMELY knowledgeable and passionate about this tour! We learned a lot. The bikes were ok - probably needed a little maintenance. The route was not bad but mostly on bumpy gravel and a little nerve racking - the return trip was mostly downhill and a bit scary.

      Awesome Experience!!

      George_P, Jun 2025
This was a really fun and interesting way to explore the history of the native peoples in the area. Our guide Ron was super-knowledgeable about the petroglyphs and the culture of the people that created them. It was so much fun to ride the e-bikes through the beautiful canyons and valleys. Would highly recommended this tour!!

Khaden made our trip so enjoyable and a definite memory in celebration of our 40th anniversary. Her narrative of the p.

Khaden is an an excellent guide in cycling and petroglyphs history. Our travel along Kane Creek Trail was excellent, exciting and will be shared with all our friends.

      Highly recommend!

Unique, educational way to experience Moab! Hayden was a terrific guide - very knowledgeable and friendly - it felt personalized. This was our first time on e-bikes - it was easy and fun. Beautiful route, and perfectly safe on bikes. We learned so much, even though we’ve spent several days in Moab. We saw new petroglyphs and gorgeous flowers and landscapes. I highly recommend this tour, even if you’ve seen the famous petroglyphs before. Best tour we’ve taken in Moab!

      Can’t recommend enough!

      Deborah_K, May 2025
Loved the bike tour. Enjoyed the beautiful scenery, engaging guide, and the variety of Moab sights. ( BASE jumping, jeep trail riding, petroglyphs, of course mulberries)

Wow what a great experience and history of the area

Yet another fantastic trip. I thought riding the electric bike would be a little challenging. But it was not. A small backpack for you water bottle would be helpful. Also a hat and good sneakers for pedaling. You do not have to pedal. You never get close to the cliffs and the electric bike make this super easy. If you can ride a bike then you can ride these e-bikes. Any skill level can do the bikes if you are tall enough. My wife did not understand the shifting but had no difficulty o ce she realizes she just had to use the plus/minus button. Also the unlaced areas are not hard because the bikes have such fat tires. Starting in the sand might be a little hard but once you are on the road it’s easy. There an about five/six stops for you to get off the bikes and stretch your legs. Sunblock and a hat are a must. I strongly recommend the small backpack and water bottles. Don't forget your camera. Our guide was the owner and he is actually writing a book we will buy when he publishes it. He is a walking history of the area. So nice and kind. Again safety is first and he does a great job getting you the right sized bike. He will adjust the seat for you.

      Good experience

      Robert_B, May 2025
Bikes are nice, ride is pleasant and guide is passionate about the subject matter. The weather was perfect for the occasion.

Ron is an expert at petroglyphs and was so nice patient and knowledgeable. We saw probably a hundred of petroglyphs and really enjoyed our time. The bikes are well maintained and top of the line!

      Nice ride into the canyon...

      Andrew_G, Oct 2024
Nice ride into the canyon to learn about native people who left their stories for us to discover. Staff was friendly and helpful.

      Fun and informative!

      Alisa_A, Oct 2024
Loved seeing the petroglyphs! Our guide was extremely well versed and obviously loved his work! He was very patient teaching us about the e-bikes too. He made the ride fun and informative. Beautiful views! He encouraged us to ride the bikes back to the shop which made the fun last a little longer. 10/10 recommend!

      Great tour

      BethMassie, Sep 2024
Ron was very knowledgeable about petroglyphs and the scenery was gorgeous. The e-bikes were easy and fun to ride.

      Wonderful time with Ron

      Nancee_H, Sep 2024
Our guide Ron was fantastic! His passion and experiences was palpable. He shared his knowledge, thoughts and theories willingly. We don't e-bike tours in the past (mostly cities), and these bikes were a bit different. Up to 5 levels of power and a throttle which made me feel like I was on a mini bike. It was perfect since we were off road on gravel, sand and hills much of the time. I highly recommend this tour!

      History of Moab on Ebike

      Tsuneyoshi_M, Aug 2024
I was just expecting an Ebike ride, but history with Petroglyph was very fascinating. Once you see it, you starts to recognize othe petroglyth. Our guide (Hayden) took us back on Moab' history as well as current development. FYI, we took the tour in Aug with triple digit temperature. Started from the bike shop at 8 with our bikes, helmets, and safety. Started the tour at 9 and finished by 11:00. Just before it got too hot.

Hayden from Pedago was an excellent tour guide! We learned so much and saw so many neat things! Highly recommend this company.

      Amazing view(s) into history

      tjay_f, Jun 2024
Fantastic morning ride with a very knowledgable local. E-bikes were super easy to ride, views incredible and amazing archeology.

Adventurous way to learn some culture and history!

      James_B, May 2024
Great experience. Bikes in great shape. Informative tour - from the intro on the shuttle to the starting point, to the details shared along the way. My adult son and I had a blast. Thanks!

      Awesome morning bike trip!

      Neala_K, Apr 2024
We got the store owner, Ron, as our tour guide. He was great - - super knowledgeable and excited about the area, petroglyphs, and biking. The bikes were fun to ride and the scenery was beautiful. Definitely recommend as a fun activity to get out, exercise, and see cool things in a beautiful area!

The birthing petroglyph was amazing. Biked through a beautiful part of Moab the we would never have found on our own. Andrew was a terrific guide.

      Great time

      kelly_k, Dec 2023
We actually visited Moab in the winter. I would say that this trip/tour would be great any time of the year. Ron the tour guide was very knowledgeable on the history of the wall art. He definitely exceeded my expectations. The bonus was the e-bikes as this was our first time using the bikes. Super easy to use and good for people of all ages. If you have any interest in learning more about the petroglyphs, this is a tour you need to do.

      Cyndi_M, Nov 2023
Enthusiastic guide who shared his knowledge of petroglyphs and the tribal migratory patterns. We learned a lot and appreciate our guide’s passion for the study of petroglyphs!

      Petroglyphs and fun

      Samuel_A, Sep 2023
Great time and the guided tour was more than worth it. We saw petroglyphs that we otherwise would have totally missed.

      Don't miss it!

      curlyq446, Sep 2023
Ron, our guide was enthusiastic and was very knowledgeable about the area. He kept an eye on everyone in the group making sure all were okay. The e-bikes were so much fun to ride. I highly recommend!

      Teresa_W, Sep 2023
It was a great way to see the back roads of moab. It was fun learning more about the petroglyphs. It was also fun biking. And trying out e-bikes. They make biking so easy! I enjoyed the scenery. If I come back to this area, I'd definitely rent bikes for a longer bike ride. The only suggestion I have is for the guide to have a microphone when he's talking while biking.

      Wonderful experience!

      Sean_C, Sep 2023
I really enjoyed the views and stopping to see the Petroglyphs. The ride was perfect for a e-bike beginner like me. I was a little nervous on the decent on the gravel road but Ron was very patient letting us go at our pace.

      Perfect way to get around

      Alexis_C, Sep 2023
We had a wonderful experience. Right off the bat, we were given some instructions on how to use the e-bikes. After getting fit for the right size bike, we loaded up in a van to head to the starting point. All along the bike ride, we stopped and saw some amazing petroglyphs. Our guide really knew his stuff and kept us all informed. The bike ride was easy, thanks to the e-bikes. My only complaint was it wasn’t long enough 😊. Thanks for a wonderful ride.

Viator failed to tell us it was a bicycle tour

      George_I, Aug 2023
When Viator signed us up for this tour, it did not tell us it was an electronic bicycle tour. We had to cancel because we are too old, the distance was too far, and the temperatures were in excess of 104 degrees. If we had known it was a bicycle tour, we would have never signed up.

      Highly recommend

      Jackie_A, Aug 2023
The tour was very educational. Ron is very passionate and gave great information. E-bikes made it easy and the scenery was beautiful. Thank you!
