Very interesting combination of history of the buildings and community plus fun tasting of tapas wine, sangria and vermouth cocktail Fantastic guide with great knowledge, style and English capability. A fun time and nice walk.

This was a super fun food tour. Our guide, Maya, was very knowledgeable about the food we tasted and how it is prepared. She knew about the history of the area and the buildings. There were 3 different food and wine stops and each was very different, but very good. We enjoyed the walk through some neighborhoods we had not been before. The tapas all were so good, as well as the wines. We were able to taste the Spanish vermut, which was very different for us. A super nice evening with good food and a very good guide.

An excellent tour of Madrid with a lot of food! Come hungry for sure. The guide was very knowledgeable about Madrid’s history and spoke perfect English. The food stops were all cozy, local joints with great food. We ended up with a private tour, which was extra special.

My partner and I had a lovely time with our tour guide Sofia, who was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Madrid and the places we visited. Having read reviews that the good was generous, we had a very light lunch and I think this was the right approach. The food & variety of drinks are excellent - salmorejo is now on our list of recipes to try back home.

We had a wonderful tour guide and would highly recommend this tour for those new to the city. We did this tour our first night in, and it was such a great way to see many of the great sights, learn some of the history, try the local dishes and drinks, and help us plan what to see/eat in our upcoming days.
The drinks and food we tried were absolutely delicious and our tour guide gave us great recommendations for many restaurants and sightseeing.
Treat this tour as a full meal and then some- we had many tapas and the portions were large. This was such a great experience and we felt we had an authentic taste of Spain!

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour! Being my first time in Madrid, it was nice to get some history and see some castizo spots.
Mia was a fantastic guide with her bubbly energy and knowledge of the the area. She clearly wants to get to know and enjoys meeting people.
I was so full from the high quality tapas only half way through, but of course had to keep trying everything that was put in front of me.

This tour saved my life! My family from Australia came to Madrid and I trusted Maia for this city tour, coz I was a bit busy for taking care of them in the mornings. This was our very first food tour and the only thing I had on my trip to do was a walking food tour. We really had lot of fun and our Guide Maia was so knowledgeable and explained all the historic details and took us through some wonderful places which I am sure we would never visit. She gave us the background of each place we visited and also in depth details of the food that we were tasting. She was very friendly and we had so many questions which she explained to us patiently. We also wanted get some spices and she kept a look out for where we can get them and made sure we got those spices before the stores closed.

Our guide Maya did an amazing job. The first stop on the trip The family restaurant Casa Paco was not a good experience, the staff did not greet and it seemed almost as if they had forgotten we came, we were served red wine in wet glasses that were not washed off properly.
