Our guide, Fernando...
Our guide, Fernando (Nando), was very entertaining and informative. He provided excellent insight into the Jewish history of Toledo as well as the overall history of the city from Moorish conquest through the Inquisition and beyond. The pace of the walk was quick but unhurried. The tour accomplished our desired objective.

Toledo walking tour
Tour was fantastic, we actually were delayed coming from Madrid and they allowed us to join a later tour since we missed our initial reservation.*Note- buy train tickets from Madrid to Toledo in advance. Tour guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and could have told us much more had the tour been longer. Passionate about Toledo and its important history. He also gave us tips on where to eat in less touristy area. Thank you!

Fascinating mix of cultures & some magnificent art by Spanish masters
Moors, Jews & Christians all in one place but not at the same time. The architecture is so intermixed. A sometimes surprising & fascinating 3 hour tour with Ana as my guide & Carlos as my driver. Having a driver cuts down on the walking. There is wonderful Spanish art. There are cardinals hats hanging over tombs. & a Star of David in a stained glass window. The synagogue is not closed on the Sabath as far as I could tell but the churches are closed during services so check first if you plan a tour on Sunday.
I paid 3 entry fees for a total of 20€.

A must visit!
We were so fortunate to have Natalia as our local guide. Born and raised in Toledo, she was able to share so much history about her beautiful city. She also reached out to us the next day as we were headed to Valencia and provided us with a great suggestion to go see a SemanaSanta procession. She even went as far as sending us a map of the route the procession would take! Our experience was fantastic thanks to Natalia!!

Toledo's history is...
Toledo's history is fascinating, and Sara was such a personable, knowledgeable and engaging guide. Her local perspective and deep experience made this very unique. Toledo may be filled with tourists and tour guides, but you have to do this tour with Sara to get such an intimate experience of the city. Highly recommend!

Best Toledo Tour
This was a last minute booking for a day trip to Toledo. We were contacted by our guide Sonia in advance. We were told about the history of Toledo and given plenty of time for pictures and questions when we arrived. Sonia made learning fun! I would give her 10 stars if I could! This is one of our highlights from our first trip to Spain! I would definitely recommend this to friends and would consider a repeat tour!

Great Jewish Tour of Toledo
Sagry was a wonderful, knowledgeable and lovely tour guide. We visited Toledo on January 1st where the main sites are closed which Sagry had reached out to me in advance to suggest that we change our date but unfortunately we were not able to because of our travel schedule. Despite the closures and very cold weather, Sagry did a great job explaining the Jewish history and broader Toledo history to us and brought it to life. She was accommodating and an absolute pleasure to spend a few hours with.

Great experience
Alex was very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. We were a small group which made it easy to understand Alex and keep up with the tour. The best part of the tour was the cathedral. We spent a good part of our time there because it was so big with many things to see. Alex was also very interested in our well being asking if we needed a break and allowing some time to look into shops. He even was helpful to my husband who was having some trouble walking at times. A great guide and a great experience.

Wonderful Tour!
We had a wonderful tour of Toledo’s historic city center, and we were fortunate enough to have Sagrario (or “Sagry,” as she likes to be called) as our guide. As a native of Toledo, she brought the city to life with her deep knowledge and warm personality. Sagry blended history with fascinating stories about the events that have shaped Toledo into the city it is today.
She also went above and beyond by recommending an incredible lunch spot (Restaurante La Orza) and giving us thoughtful advice on where to shop for authentic handmade crafts—and just as importantly, where not to go. Since we were heading back to Madrid the same day, Sagry insisted we stop at the iconic Chocolatería San Ginés for churros. Unsurprisingly, they were absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the day.
I highly recommend getting a guide when exploring Toledo, and if you’re lucky enough to have Sagrario, you’re in for an unforgettable experience!
