Family oriented visit

Michael_W, Sep 2026
Good but not a great aquarium experience. VERY very much geared for children/families and more so than other aquariums

Shame no cafe

David_W, Sep 2026
The aquarium is over two floors so don't think the bottom level is everything! We didn't realise this and had to rush through the next level because of time. The exhibits are set out very well with information panels and all the fish can be seen clearly because the tanks are so big. Unfortunately there is no café inside only vending machines with nowhere properly to sit - that's why I gave a 4 star rating. After standing and walking for a couple of hours you need a rest and a welcome coffee, but that's not possible and did spoilt it a bit for us as we got tired towards the end. The aquarium could make more money by providing a café and making the visit more comfortable for visitors. Having said that, we did find a quiet spot to sit and eat/drink something but families would find it difficult. For the price we paid for 2 people (£64) it was an expensive visit and especially as there isn't a café. We have visited lots of Sealife Aquariums around the country and this one was very big. Bear in mind that you go down to -2 to start your visit so its all underground and can be dark at times, but this doesn't affect seeing all the exhibits.

A fun family experience....

Vipul_P, Aug 2026
A fun experience. This was my sec9nd time. Weekends gets really busy so if you are flexible with a day, try it out on a weekday.

Very good experience

Luljeta_I, Aug 2026
The experience at Sea Life was fantastic. It was visited by my two teenagers, and they were very impressed. They saw many sea creatures that they had never seen before. It was a wonderful experience for them.

Very good easy way to make your ticket at home and flexible time . recommended my experience to my friend and any one lo

Manhal_E, Jul 2026

It is really worth and go with your kids, it will be lots of fun and can see many creatures and gets good learning opportunities as well

Aquarium

Ken_W, Jun 2026
It's dark, crowded and mostly for kids. There was very little educational information about the fish.

Great value!

anita_M, Apr 2026
We loved the see through floors and tunnels; these created a thrill of being in the water with the sea life. For a smaller sized aquarium, as compared to Boston or Baltimore, USA, one encountered a wide variety of sea life! The exhibts were expertly created with educating children at the forefront! We loved the fact that there was a child 'touch' area as well as an interactive booklet for kids. For the price, we would highly recommend this aquarium for folks with kids or even aquarium-loving adults. It did not disappoint.

Recheck open hours

Kathy_R, Feb 2026

Meh

Simon_K, Aug 2025
Meh. Looking tired and old. Due a revamp. Better suited to younger children. The penguins were good though

Aquarium

Donnis_P, Jun 2025
I recommend this event for anyone traveling to London. The aquarium is located next to the London Eye.

Underground does NOT mean Cooler Temperature

Carol_B, May 2025
This started interesting enough. It was extremely hot day and even though this was underground, it was very hot. Then there was school kids who came after us making the viewing areas crowded. There was not enough signage. We needed bathroom facilities and there was no signage let alone anyone to help where to go. We ended up backtracking and leaving early. We would have continued but again the kids blocked some area's. Disappointing.

Far too expensive and a rip off

Jason_S, Apr 2025
Far too expensive, severely overcrowded and the whole thing is only 30 minutes. Very cruel and unethical with very small aquariums housing sharks and penguins which is nothing like their natural habitat. They don’t care about animal welfare. It’s sad to see sharks swimming in a tiny tank.

Great day out

carol_d, Apr 2025
All the aquariums are clean and the fish look well looked after. There were a good selection of aquatic life.

Amazing time with my 12 year old

Claire_D, Apr 2025
We always visit sea life and have the best time , we love the shark tank and the shark virtual experience.

Great time

Nicole_L, Mar 2025
Great time with family enjoyed the experience would go again loved the huge tanks with great selection of sea life

Not a lot to see

Ledion_K, Feb 2025
Not a lot to see though is better not worth the money is just a place that you go oround see in one direction all

There is nowhere to leave...

Pia_O, Feb 2025
There is nowhere to leave your coat or any bags, so exhausting to go round the place as it is very warm. Also very slow in school holidays, as there were a lot of people. But the kids loved it!

This time when we visited...

Jane_N, Jan 2025
This time when we visited all the larger sharks where not there which my grandson was a little disappointed about.

Had a good layout with...

LouAnne_H, Jan 2025
Had a good layout with some fantastic displays especially the jellyfish and sea horses. Loved the friendly stingrays at the entrance and the sea turtles were magical.

Pathetic time management by operator

Rahul_S, Jan 2025
The tour is mentioned to last around 2 hours long, and we booked 3:45 time slot tickets, but during whole tour we were continuously asked to rush ahead. By the time we reached penguins section, they turned off the lights. They closed the aquarium in 1 hour 15 minutes at 5 pm. If they want to close sharp at 5 pm, then they should not be selling tickets after 3 pm entrance time.

Whimsical

Leah_B, Jan 2025
Really lovely to see everything, quite busy but to be expected when you accidentally book ‘super peak’ instead of ‘super off-peak’ tickets pah. Overall nice staff too and good experience for everyone.

Loved it !

Aqsa_I, Dec 2024
It was very fun and enjoyable with my family. The animals were wonderful, the staff giving information were friendly and great and it was just a memorable experience. I would definitely recommend this aquarium to a friend. The virtual reality experience was fun and the souvenir shop is one to like. You also get souvenir photos !

A visit to the London Sealife

Ann_L, Dec 2024
My time at the London Sealife was well worth it. The experience was breathtaking seeing all those sea animals makes me think about my homeland, a Riverside girl.

The Tangible World of Sea Life

Christopher_B, Oct 2024
The most spectacular and memorable display was the large tank with significant sea life circulating slowly round the central structure. It is a rare opportunity to see fish close up in their natural environment. Many of us watch David Attenborough programmes, but it is unique to see some of these fishes at such close proximity. Although there were no significant sharks, the aquarium enables you to appreciate even more how striking and beautiful these creatures are.

Nice visit

Sophia_L, Sep 2024
Went with my daughter and had so much fun. Seeing the penguins was the best part. Will definitely go back when I visit London again.
