I must admit that the experience on the London eye was a disappointment. I was expecting a little more of a thrill than what was there, but this is basically a good way to go up in the air to get a better view of London and to take a few photographs. If you’re looking for some excitement, look elsewhere.

For the experience it was great. However it’s just an average thing to do. We went at a good time (2pm local) and there wasn’t a line. We also went on a Friday afternoon.
The views were nice, and you can get some nice photos. Is it worth the $120 price tag? Absolutely not, but it is neat to experience.

We came to London in January and because our visit was short. I wanted to make sure we used all of our time wisely. I booked the fast pass ticket after reviews said that lines can be very long. I’m not sure if it was the time of the year that we went, day of the week or something else but there trally weren’t lines when we arrived so I’m not sure the fast pass ticket was worth the value. In addition while we were standing in line many of the other people without fast pass tickets were let on the eye before us. The London eye gives you a view of the city from a different an angle. Depending on the season, I can see where the fast pass ticket would be a value however it just wasn’t needed during the time that we visited.

When done make sure you stop at photo place at end of trip. Was very crowded and not well enough marked before you get there. When I tried to go back, access was blocked. So no photos.

LOVED this experience! The fast track ticket still had us waiting in line for about 10-12 mins. I wish we had our own pod it would have helped the experience. I felt our pod was too crowded and it was hard to see things until we got to the top

We bought the FastPass ticket and it was very quick. However, the sun obstructed our view of the Elizabeth Tower, the old Big Ben, Parliament, and other landmarks. Also, the dirt on the windows made it difficult to take good photos.
