This is just an admission ticket, and while probably should attend at the time you chosen, there were no issues when I was late to my time slot. Spent many hours in the Tower of London, splurging on the £5 audio guide which made navigating the tower more enjoyable.

Tower of London! Must see!

Wow! I only knew of the Tower of London as a prison but its history is so much deeper. The entire experience was so enlightening and educational. So glad we took this tour!

Waste of time Do not book.

Do not book! Even with this paid time slot you still have to make and wait in lines for over 45 minutes. This was super overcrowded can barely view anything . Beefeater were no were around. Also so many stairs to go anywhere. I contact support which offer no assistance.

Poor communication and attitude

We booked for the self tour at 3pm on 28th January.. the website said rhe tour took about 2 hours. We were told to leave at 4.30 as they had closed! They did not reqeust us to leave in a polite way. In fact one yeoman was quite agressive. They said the closing time was on their website but there was nothing shown by Viator Why say the tour takes 2 hours and let you book at 3pm ann throw you out at 4.30. Not impressed by communications or attitude. Uk resident

Tickets - Not what it says it will be

I would like a full refund. We had to purchase 4 audio sets to do a self tour. When we arrived the shared that it closes at 4:30pm. Our ticket was for a 3pm start and says 2hrs approx. additionally they stated we were supposed to arrive at 2:30pm. It never stated that on the event ticket information. Lastly this ticket cost more as an entrance and we had to conduct a self guided audio tour. Not what we were expecting at the price per person.

Do not recommend. Description indicates up to 3 hours. Got tickets for 3 pm and everything started to close at 4pm. Beautiful and interesting place, would have loved to spend more time. Tried to contact the company for a second opportunity but wasn’t replied in a full day. Do not book with them.

Slightly disappointed

This Viator experience was very different than what we’ve experienced before. Typically we would have a guide and a specific meeting point to start the tour. Not the case here as this is the exact same ticket you can purchase from the Tower website. This wasn’t the experience we thought we were purchasing. We texted our ‘supposed’ tour guide and received no response. Save yourself the trouble and cut out the third party by purchasing your ticket directly from the Tower website. I will say it worked out well as this is a wonderful location with incredible historical significance.

It’s a wonderful historic as well as current. The crown jewels are beautiful. The history is amazing and we should all remember. London is over 2000 years old and we get to see a part it’s vast history

Do the Beefeater tour!

This was a last-minute I should do it while I'm here tour. It was great. Caught the last Beefeater tour of the day. Only down side was I did this at the end of the day and some of the gift shops were closed by 4 when everything else was open until 4:30. Great stories though...and the Beefeater tour is highly recommended!

Not impressed with the Tower of London. - Map is terrible and difficult to follow. - apart from the Crown Jewels there’s barely anything interesting there. - Let too many people in so having to queue to get into different rooms.

I really wasn't expecting much. How wrong I was. The place is huge and jammed packed with interesting history. What an amazing afternoon. Be prepared to do lots of walking and climbing. All staff were super friendly too (including the ravens!)

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Tower of London. I guess we spent a good two hours, if not three. The Yeomen were very friendly, engaging and full of interesting tidbits of information. I recommend getting the audio tour as it provides a lot of information and context about where you are and what you're seeing. The Crown Jewels exhibit is amazing! This does require a lot of walking and stairs, so would be challenging for anyone with limited mobility.

The yeoman warder guides are knowledgeable and entertaining. The day of our visit had several school groups so that made it a bit difficult to navigate the areas of interest (ie, the Crown Jewels).

It’s great fun. Our tour guide Nev was excellent. Lots of interesting stories about the tower and the kings and queens that lived there. Although the stories were gruesome Nev made it fun too. Very informative about the ravens and who lives there now. Lots to see. Very nice cafe. We would definitely go again in the future
