Wonderful experience don’t miss this historic tour. Chapel tour was worth it. Staff was helpful and friendly

They are working on the place so some of the rooms were not visible. They had boards up. Be prepared to walk a bit to and from the palace
Sally_B, Jul 2026
Fantastic experience. The knowledge from the ground staff and Beefeaters was exceptional. A very hot day, staff reminding people to stay hydrated.

I wish we had booked a tour instead of just entry tickets. It was such a fascinating experience yet was missing the history lessons that I enjoy. It was still a fantastic visit and I’m glad we went! My favorite was the ravens and the bloody tower. A must see!

The descriptions of the many tombs was good but it was difficult to find which ones were being referred to. Better signs would have helped.

Very interesting to tour the Tower. I would recommend to anyone. There’s plenty to see so plan to spend a few hours. There are some steps.
Karina_Y, Jun 2026
The instruction should be much better on where to meet as it should state that you will be accessing through the reserved checki-in area and the tour will be a self-tour.
Sharon_P, Jun 2026
It was very interesting and especially enjoyed seeing the Crown Jewels display. The only down side was that it was very hot the day we went.

Loved seeing London tower but no crowd control.
I brought my ticket at a certain hour but there seems to be no control on s
What time you could arrive.

When I arrived to the Tower, we were told they don’t do tours with Viator and they didn’t know what we were talking about. I contacted the support and was told there was a 3:30 tour we could join. We walked around by ourselves and it was $150. Major bummer.
Julie_K, Jun 2026
I thought I was getting a small group tour but anyone that has an admission ticket can join a tour. So it was huge!
Lynn_M, Jun 2026
Very disappointing we didn’t even get in the tower. There was no information on this companies web site to say you were not allowed entry if you had a roll along case with you. No refund available just feel ripped off.

Great experience - highly recommend to all ages. Our young kids loved it.
Beefeater tours every half hour or pay £5 for a digital audio device.
Tener_V, Jun 2026
Viator overpriced. We could have purchased tickets at the Tower of London for much less. Times tickets don't matter. Long lines to get in.

Very informative and historical
Dollhouse was fascinating.
And don't miss the royal jewel
All good Very good
carole_c, Jun 2026
get your tickets on site on the day as I could not get mine even though I had paid weeks beforehand. I am awaiting a refund.
KYLE_S, Jun 2026
When buying tickets to the Tower of London, it was misleading to know that we thought we had a guided tour and we did not. We had to walk-through by ourselves.
Frances_V, Jun 2026
Line ups moved quickly and audio tour was perfect, letting you go at your own pace. Jewels are something to see and the armour was interesting as well. Don’t miss the beefeater tour, they are very interesting and funny.
Kyle_S, May 2026
There is a lot of walking so be prepared. Signs are placed in areas of interest along with the maps ...makes it easy to find key areas. Watching the geo-man guards was quite interesting.
Teri_Z, May 2026
Couldn't be easier! I went online and had my tickets in minutes, right onto my phone. Plus, they send a reminder, which if you're traveling, is a huge help.
ed_l, May 2026
It's a very busy venue. Thousands of yelling school children. The audio guide is VERY difficult to hear. Children's entrances times should be altered with adult entry.
Pauleen_G, May 2026
When I booked our tickets the information went to my phone, there was no tickets to view. When we got to The Tower of London the ticket seller could not find the either, but we had a reference number so she kindly let us in.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
We’re pleased to hear that, despite the initial difficulty locating your booking, our team at the Tower of London was able to assist you promptly and ensure you were able to enjoy your visit.
All booking confirmations are typically sent digitally, including a reference number which can be used to access your tickets. On rare occasions, technical or delivery issues may affect how tickets are displayed, but your reference number is always valid proof of booking, as in your case.
We appreciate your understanding and patience, and we will review your feedback to help improve the clarity and accessibility of our booking communications going forward.
Thank you for choosing us, and we hope you had a wonderful experience at the Tower of London.

It’s much handier if you book on line. Saves time. We really enjoyed it and was very interesting we used the head phones which was very good.
ELIZABETH_Y, May 2026
Wonderful day out and great value for the money. The customer flow was well managed so we could flow through the exhibits comfortably. Top tip is to arrive early as the queues to get in to exhibits got longer, especially for the jewel room.
The food in the cafe was excellent and good value.
We really enjoyed the little outdoor theatre performance. Very funny.
Response from Host, May 2026
Thank you for your lovely review! We’re delighted to hear you had such a wonderful day and found the experience great value for money. It’s fantastic to know the flow through the exhibits, the café, and the outdoor theatre performance all added to your enjoyment. We really appreciate your helpful tip about arriving early and hope to welcome you back again soon.

Absolutely brilliant and so informative! Loved our Yeoman Warden and I can’t remember his name🥲 he said the most asked question is “ where are the Crown Jewels”😆🥰
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for your brilliant feedback! We’re so glad you found the experience informative and enjoyable. The Yeoman Wardens are truly fantastic storytellers, and we love that classic Crown Jewels question too . We really appreciate you sharing your experience and hope to welcome you again soon!

Interesting tour although some aspects not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
Enjoyed what I saw.
Margaret_E, Apr 2026
Lots to see at Tower. Lucky for us, late April was not too crowded and weather was great. We were never hurried along. Get audio guide. The one you download on phone worked very poorly.
Patsy_W, Apr 2026
Great value for money. Loads to do within the Tower itself. Friendly guides. Ample facilities for refreshments.
Jessica_W, Apr 2026
Very crowded and lots to see. Long lines and lots of people at all times. Interesting to learn about.
Belen_P, Apr 2026
There was no Tour Guide and I was not informed that there was none and do the tour by ourselves. Very frustrating that we waited for the your guide from 9:00 Am as we don’t want to be late. So we did the tour by ourselves.
Response from Host, Apr 2026
Thank you for sharing your feedback, and we’re sorry to hear about the frustration caused on the day.
We’d like to clarify that this experience is clearly listed as Entry to the Tower of London, which means it is a non‑guided tour. As outlined in the What’s Included section, no tour guide is provided, and visitors explore the Tower at their own pace.
That said, we completely understand how waiting in expectation of a guide could be disappointing, and we regret any confusion this may have caused. Your comments are appreciated and will help us consider how we can make this information even clearer for future guests.
