Great experience with knowledgable guide, Jason. He provided detailed information about Zion National Park, as well as many details about Las Vegas and the region. Comfortable vehicle. All admission fees provided. I’ll definitely book another tour with Jason, likely to Death Valley. I highly recommend the Zion tour and guide.

I only had 1 day to see Zion and I wanted to pack as much in as I could. This tour was perfect for that. About 6 hours of total time in the park. Jason was our tour guide and he was great. He gave good recommendations for things to do in the park, told us about hidden gems that we might want to check out, and was very knowledgeable of the area and its history.

Maybe I should have known better; when I read that this excursion was a small group tour of Zion I thought our guide would explain the park and guide us up a couple of the easier trails since he wouldn’t have experienced our trail skills before. What it was instead was transport to and from Zion. So when the guide asked early in the drive “what do you all have planned for the day” I realized that I came completely unprepared. The guide tried to help with a couple of questions about our interests, but with the number of trails, the bus system inside the park, and no trail map because cell coverage on the drive was spotty it was alot to piece together at that point. In the end it all worked out OK. The park is so beautiful you can’t trip without feeling some sense of awe. But looking at it in retrospect there would have been other things we would have done. Our guide was good company, and most importantly we started out very early which was important because the visitors center was already crowded when we arrived shortly after 8am. There was a 40 minute wait for the first canyon bus (in very early April). It all worked out, but be sure to do your homework and have your own plan going in.

All day trip with long ride to and from park. Driver just takes you to the park and than you are on your own to figure out where to go and what you see ( 6 hours free time) so if you need more guidance it’s not for you. It’s easy to hop on and off the park shatter just hikes are more challenging if you don’t have to much practice

It was well worth the drive out to Utah! Jason, our tour guide, did an incredible job being prepared and ready to go for our tour group! The drive was smooth sailing there and back as you leave early enough and go back at a decent time. The scenery and sights are jaw dropping and make your heads turn! Right now, I would say Zion national park is my favorite after the Grand Canyon and Yosemite!

I had a wonderful day trip with Brian in the 'hot rod' van. Smooth sailing to and from Zion and Brian shared insightful stories and going ons about the history of Las Vegas, Nevada and Utah. Zion is such a majestic destination. The self-paced day was just right to hike as well as relax. I highly recommend this experience!

We had a fantastic day with Jason in ZNP. He was informative and responsive to questions and really went out of his way to be sure everyone was comfortable and got to see what they wanted to see. I felt safe at all times with his driving. It was easy to navigate the Zion shuttle system once we were in the park. We did short hikes to Lower Emerald Pools and the beginning of The Narrows, and stopped to watch people on the saddle hiking to Angel's Landing. A must do experience!

An excellent way to see Zion if you only have a day to experience the park. The trip leaves from Las Vegas quite early to avoid lengthy lines at the park entrance and provides guests with ample time to explore the park. Brian was a wonderful guide who offered a ton of good advice on the best way to explore Zion using the park's extensive shuttle system. He also shared a lot of history of the areas between Las Vegas and the park as we ventured out to Zion. In addition to visiting the canyon side of the park, our group was also interested in visiting the Canyon Overlook trail. Brian was kind enough to add time into the day to allow for that. This was the best combination of guidance and free time I've found on a group tour. I'd highly recommend booking it!

Great trip to Zion

We had an excellent day with Brian. He picked us up on time at our hotel. On the way to Zion he gave us commentary about the area. We stopped on the way for something to eat for breakfast and we got sandwiches to eat in the park. He suggested trails for us to do in the time frame we had. He drove us to the beautiful Canyon Overlook which was in another part of the park. On the way back to Vegas we stopped to get some delicious Bumbleberry pie. It was a great trip with only 3 other people and we would highly recommend this tour.

Beautiful views, be aware of surroundings and dips/edges on trails. Easy to be enthralled with views and forget footing. Great walking trails, sheer cliffs and tranquil clear waters throughout. Efficient shuttles up and down the trails. Pictures cannot capture the enormity amd colors that abound.

This trip is so much fun! Our driver provided us with history of the entire area on the way to Zion. Told us which hikes to take, how to use park shuttle service and where pickup would be. We had plenty of time to explore on our own.

This park is stunning! Lots of trails so a lot of walking! We found the River Walk to be the easiest hike. Unfortunately the narrows were closed because of flash flooding but there was plenty to look at! It was raining in the morning when we got there which made everything more beautiful! There was almost always a bus available to take you to the next point of interest. TIP make sure you wear comfortable shoes for hiking and ones you don't mind getting dirty.

This is such a great way to experience Zion. Having six hours to hike at your own pace and see what you want to, and on our day when the park wasn't too full (so no waiting in lines at the shuttle busses!), made for a day where I was able to get in everything I wanted to in and still had time for a late lunch at the nearby Brewery. Had a wonderful experience and the drive had impressive views as well, particularly with a beautiful sunrise.

Highly recommend!!! Brian from Mojave Wave was excellent in responding to communications pre trip. The tour size is small and the van is comfortable no matter what seat you have. Brian shared a ton of information about the history of Las Vegas and surrounding area in addition to Zion National Park. My friend and I followed his suggestion for which hikes to take in which order and the timing was perfect! We feel like we were able to see enough of Zion in the short amount. Brian then offered to take the group on a bonus tour of Bryce Canyon, which was not scheduled on the itinerary and everyone in the group was on board. It was a great unexpected bonus! I am a national park enthusiast, so getting to go to an additional park in the same trip was incredible. I will definitely book Mojave Wave when I am out that way again for a Death Valley or mystery tour.

Book it! I ended my weeklong work trip in Vegas with this solo trip to Zion. Jason made everything completely hassle free and I felt so comfortable headed into the park despite zero planning on my end. He even encouraged me to hike Angels Landing and I’m so grateful for a couple on the trip who adopted me to hike with them. Overall great experience and I will absolutely be doing another tour with this group next time I’m in town. Early, easy pickup, ample time to explore the park, and plenty of time to enjoy your night after being dropped off back at the hotel.

This is a great tour to go on regardless of whether you have been to the park or not. The guide, Brian, was knowledgeable and gave great suggestion for hikes to go on, which was greatly appreciated as we were first-timers. Considering it is a day trip from Vegas, the tour gives you plenty of time to explore the park and one could likely complete 2-3 hikes, depending on your fitness level and the length of the route, of course. Overall, loved visiting the park and learning about its history + other interesting facts!
