Leave the city for a scenic, 33-mile (53-km) drive through the desert on your way to the Hoover Dam. Learn about the dam workers who lived in Boulder City in the early 1930s, and get views across Lake Mead, the second-largest manmade lake in the Western Hemisphere.
You’ll cross over the top of the dam, then pause for 15 to 20 minutes at the Arizona Lookout, which offers a great perspective on the entire dam area, including the Bypass Bridge.
You’ll have some free time to shop or visit the Hoover Dam restaurant, then begin the return trip to Las Vegas, where this tour concludes with drop-off at your original departure point.

Good breakfast. A little hard to get in and out of the vehicle if you have any physical issues. Power plant tour, then the driver took us to overlook to take pictures.

This bus tour to Hoover Dam was an excellent experience and a great way to see one of the most impressive landmarks in the country. One of the biggest conveniences was that the tour picked us up right in front of our hotel, which made the entire day feel easy and stress-free from the very beginning.
The ride was comfortable and relaxing, and Mr. G, our guide was knowledgeable and engaging, sharing interesting history and facts about the dam, its construction, and its importance to the region. Seeing Hoover Dam up close was truly awe-inspiring—the scale, engineering, and views of the Colorado River are incredible and photos don’t do it justice.
We also appreciated having plenty of time to explore, take pictures, and take in the surroundings without feeling rushed. Between the hotel pickup, yummy hot breakfast, smooth transportation, and informative commentary, this tour was well organized and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a convenient, informative, and memorable visit to Hoover Dam.

My. G picked us up at our hotel in his comfortable 13 person van, right on time. We had part of our scheduled party cancel so we got VIP treatment with only 4 people. He was so informative on all the sights, arranged a nice breakfast before we went to the dam, and provided us water as we took the tour with another guide going down into the dam. Mr. G explained what we would be doing and provided us tickets. We had a full 2 hours at the dam before going for pictures at Lake Mead. We would highly recommend this tour and Mr. G❤️

Mr G was wonderful. He told us a lot about Boulder city and the Hoover dam. He went out of his way and took us to see Lake Meade the longhorn sheep and take pictures at the welcome to Las Vegas sign.

Incredibly informative with a great tour guide and wonderful service. Our driver, Earl, couldn’t have been better. He was an encyclopedia of history and knowledge on the Hoover dam. My wife is fair skinned and very sun sensitive, and we were worried about the predicted 113(!) high for the day. I called Viator and spoke to Linda about the possibility of getting an umbrella for her. Linda was very sweet and understanding, and did manage to find her an umbrella! Superior, very outstanding customer service, I can’t say enough good things about the company.

Excellent tour and the breakfast was really good. I just wish we could have selected our own breakfast. As a family traveling with 3 elders it was very appropriate for them. Minimal walking unless you wanted to do more.

Our tour guide Bill was great! He was full of knowledge about the Hoover Dam and surrounding areas. Our transportation was very comfortable, breakfast was good and the Hoover Dam did not disappoint. Oh, and the price of the ticket was perfect. I would definitely recommend this tour!

The Viator tour of the Hoover Dam was fantastic! The driver was extremely careful, and he offered interesting and excellent information and tips. The breakfast was a great idea to break up the ride and the tour provided just the right amount of time to experience the marvels of the Hoover Dam.

Old bus that made too much rattle noise. Breakfast was full of grease and oil. Inside the Hoover Dam was a nice tour and got free time towards the end.

Our driver Mr. G was the best! Courteous, professional, informative and funny. He was a safe driver and did a great job at pointing out unique things as we traveled in the shuttle to and from Hoover Dam. Breakfast was very good, the tour down into the Dam was excellent and all of the extra stops along the way were perfect.
