The walking tour starts at the plaza and ends at the container park. It was really hot in June but we still had a great time. I’d bring lots of water!
The tour was a great way to learn about the history of Las Vegas and get insider tips. My boyfriend and I ended up staying at the golden gate the next day and checked out circas rooftop bar which Kelly recommended. I like the audio headset so you can hear what the guide is saying easily and the binder full of visual aids of what Vegas looked like before. We felt like we learned a lot

Another tour that wasn’t worth $70 I mean if you’ve been in Vegas all you gotta do is take a lift and say go downtown and you’re in Fremont and you probably pay like $12 for the lift you can tour free on your own

You are absolutely right that anyone can visit Downtown Las Vegas and Fremont Street on their own. The purpose of our tour is to provide carefully researched historical context, stories, and insights that would be extremely difficult for most visitors to uncover on their own.
Over the course of two hours, guests gain a comprehensive understanding of the founding of Las Vegas, the evolution of Fremont Street, the people and events that shaped the city, and numerous hidden details and connections that are rarely recognized without an expert guide.
While guided tours are not for everyone, many guests appreciate the deeper understanding and perspective they gain from the experience.

I had been on Fremont Street several times, but wasn’t fully aware of a lot of the history or that much really. Kelly was an outstanding tour guide. The headphones were great that way we could hear him as we walked & because it was loud and a few spots along the tour.
He was full of Fremont history & had a binder with old photos to show what it looked like in the past to compare to now. He was very personable & made the tour very enjoyable.
The insights to some downtown hotels / casinos brought them into the running to stay in the future, a different Vegas trip but it’ll still be enjoyable & tasty! 😋

Our tour guide was excellent and full of information of the old original Las Vegas city. He gave a really good historical timeline of the evolution and why most of the casinos moved outside of Las Vegas to the strip. Very highly recommended. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great tour. We have been to Las Vegas many times and even stayed on Fremont Street before. Almost all of the information on the tour was new and interesting to us. It was very cool to see all the historical remnants of old Las Vegas. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable, well spoken and funny. We had never been to the new downtown revitalization area and it it worth the visit. We will certainly visit Fremont street on our next trip to Las Vegas. I highly recommend this tour to any travelers to Los Vegas even if you have been many times, there’s something new to learn!

This tour is easily accessible, and our guide ,Kelly was wonderful. I rode a four wheel scooter. He was cognizant of my handicap, snd made it easy for me to be a part of the group, without drawing attention to me.
He showed us pictures of Fremont decades prior, and he had extensive historical knowledge filled with many anecdotes. He is a good storyteller, and we enjoyed hearing about just how different Fremont Street and downtown were formerly, which made it even more fun as we walked on Fremont and downtown streets— now revitalized,
We also were given a “tip sheet.” One of the restaurants Kelly recommended we went to that evening. Don’t let the appearance “ fool you.” We had good drinks and some wonderful food at Carson Kitchen. We sat in the bar, and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The service was excellent, and the prices were much lower than restaurants on the strip. The entire day and evening were a delight.
Viator tours always exceed our expectations; you experience and learn information you wouldn’t find on your own.
We have already booked our next tour.
