The staff at the Cove was amazing. Yanni was so helpful and so sweet, and David was very knowledgeable. They helped make the experience even better.

The suits and gear were fine. Nice to get an all day rental for a discounted price. Ask the locals as you walk around their favorite spots to go. We found some neat areas with close parking to walk down to the water by a restaurant and found leopard sharks, sand sharks, stingrays, and lots of little fish to see in 4-6 ft of water.

Such a scam the water is very dirty smells like poop from the sea lions not a lot of fish to see and very strong waves kept getting the nasty water in my mouth all in all not worth it at all

It’s so worth it if you love nature and swimming, only concern would be the shortage of snorkeling gear, but I got lucky enough to snag a good quality snorkel and mask

We rented the equipment and walked to La Jolla Cove from the rental place. We had a great time. Sea lions and birds swam around us and there were a lot of fish. It was fun. I would recommend!!

We had a great experience. The staff were professional and helpful. We did not get to snorkel in La Jolla cove because the lifeguards told us not to go out due to the waves coming into the cove. We returned to the rental office and they offered to refund the rental fees even though we had already taken the equipment down to the cove. If I could give them more stars I would. They are a great business. We also found the most reasonable prices on souvenir shirts in their shop. I highly recommend this company and I recommend checking the surf report on the day you plan to snorkel.

The overall experience was very good,the people at the store who helped us was very helpful and gave us lockers to put our belongings in,it was a very fun trip and can’t wait to do it again over the summer!

It was a seamless process from start to finish. The hardest part was finding parking because it was a holiday. The employees were wonderful and helped fit us for wetsuits and flippers. We were able to keep them all day and there were multiple places that we could snorkel throughout La Jolla. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great but there’s nothing to be done about that. Would definitely recommend!

Seeing the caves and the sea animals was amazing . An unforgettable experience. We spent 3 hours out in the ocean exploring due to the convenience of the all day snorkeling package. It was practical and affordable.

Definitely recommend this if you’re going to San Diego, especially to see the sea lions! I didn’t see any in the water because they were all sunbathing, but lots of girabaldi and seaweed, keep your eyes peeled for any other creatures! 10/10 will be coming back.

The customer service was great and very informative for our first time in San Diego. They made sure we had equipment that fit well and guided us through the process. Some of our party saw sharks and interacted with a sea lion in the ocean.Super cool experience for everyone! Definitely worth it!

Really lovely people there helpfull. Shop was little hard to find but snorkeling was amazing amongst the sea lions though cold. Wetsuit defenitely necessary.

This was the best day in our two weeks road trip in California and we cannot reccomend it enough!
From price to service and the actual experience it was all perfect . You get wetsuits too which is a plus, and the sea lions were just so much fun!

On trip advisor it stated “departure time” was from 9am - 7pm, we got there at 5pm and were told it was closed. I requested a refund and I still have been charged the $60 for something I did not get to do.

That is our fault and I will vouch for a full refund for your experience. Unfortunately we can't do that on our end, but you're able to so on yours. Please request and refund and we will 100% vouch for you.
explaination: Normally before daylight savings we do not allow our guests to go past sundown due to visibility and lack of safety personnel during that time. During the "winter" months it typically gets dark around 6 or even earlier. We will need to adjust our hours accordingly.
