What are people saying about La Jolla

Amazing experience!
Beach yoga in La Jolla was a fabulous experience. Our family (young adults and mom) did this for our family vacation. The poses in the sand add a unique element. It was a very nice class for our varying levels and a good combination of static poses and flow. It was relaxing and the view can't be beat! Cathy is an amazing instructor and makes you feel immediately at ease. Recommend to bring cold water and wear sunscreen! It gets warm even early in the morning.

A lovely day on the ocean
My daughter and I did the tandem kayak cave tour with guides Luca and Amanda on Mother’s Day. We enjoyed the wonderful weather, the fun banter and of course, the headstands! It’s a bit of a misnomer to call it a cave tour, as we were in a cave for less than 2 minutes. We learned a lot about the area, the Garibaldi, the fault line and The Sandcastle, which was all very interesting. We also saw pelicans, cormorants, seals and saw birds diving for fish. We definitely felt safe. A few people fell out of their kayaks but we wore safety vests and helmets so we weren't in danger. The traffic situation getting into La Jolla caused us a delay of 30 minutes but thankfully we made our trip.

La Jolla Cave Kayaking a Win!
Excellent excursion! Guides were enthusiastic, knowledgeable, funny and very helpful. Excursion was adventurous, beautiful and worth doing. Prepare to get wet and work out. Thrilled we did it before we are too old to do it. The guides helped us get into the cave on kayaks and ride the waves in back to shore.

Balanced view
Beautiful views of the canyon and coast line. Granger was extremely knowledgeable about the area and shared his passion for conservation which truly enhanced the tour. We pass through life looking one to two steps ahead with focus and courage while also keeping the big picture of nine to ten steps ahead within our awareness. This will stick with us.

La Jolla - First Time Kayaking
Process was very straightforward as long as you sign waivers and everything beforehand on your phone. Parking was difficult but that was expected (had to find parking in the neighborhood and almost missed out check in time, but they were pretty lenient)
Alex was our guide and he was very knowledgable and experienced and overall fun to work with. As a local, he also provided several recommendations for food and places to visit. You will have a great time if he’s your guide!
Was our first time kayaking so it was intimidating, but once you get out further where waters are more calm, it was enjoyable and offered stunning views. Scariest parts are entering the water and the ending where you enter the beach. Whole experience was about 1.5 hrs but it went super quick and didnt notice how tired we were from paddling.
Would say the money spent was definitely worth the experience!

Sea-life galore!!
Great kayaking experience!! The guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The weather (in January) was perfect!!
We saw Leopard Sharks, schools of fish, a Guitar Fish/Shark, seals, birds, and a Sea Turtle!!! Water is super clear! You can easily see the ocean floor 20+ feet down.
