In 20-20 hindsight glad we chose this 6-person tour over the big, shiny bus. Had my doubts when first met Brandon - looked a little rough in jeans, boots and baseball cap - so did his van - especially after riding over the hotel speed bump ….. Lesson #1 - Things aren’t always how they appear to be. Learned soon enough that Brandon was born to be a tour guide - and it’s not even his main gig ….. He’s a retired musician and music store owner, grew up around an antique store, was a heavy equipment operator ….. Now lives the dream as a Grand Canyon rescue volunteer, repel master instructor, leads backpack and whitewater adventures in and around the Canyon, he’s lead recon and set up man for a couple of extreme desert racing events ….. And does all the above concurrently as opportunities arise ….. I’m impressed ….. All those skill sets contributed to a deep, knowledgeable experience for us ….. and I could tell he wasn’t faking it - I did some of those things in 5th Special Forces Group ….. And most impressive? …. He talked about leading Grand Canyon river adventures for disabled vets - at no cost. That’s character.

We had a great time! Brandon was an excellent tour guide- very knowledgeable and very nice to talk with. The scenery was breathtaking - I would highly recommend this tour. We also got back to Vegas at a reasonable time as well. Put it on your list!!

Wonder personalized tour, our group size was 5, including the guide, Brandon. Brandon was extremely knowledgeable about the history of the culture and geography. Brandon lives in the area, and knew all of the small details that you wouldn't get on a tour bus. He stopped for us to have lunch at a small local ranch, with live music and local stories of history. Highly recommend Desert Wonder Adventures.

Our experience with owner Bob and Desert Wonder Tours to the west Grand Canyon , including a visit to the Grand Canyon Western Dude Ranch for lunch, was truly unforgettable.
The tour was well organized, offering breathtaking views of the canyon and a delightful stop at the ranch. We enjoyed cowboy Dave’s songs and storytelling during our hearty lunch which added a touch of rustic charm to our adventure.
Our guide, Brandon, was exceptional-knowledgeable about the are’s history and natural beauty, and always thoughtful in helping us capture memories by taking photos whenever we asked . We highly recommend both the tour and Brandon for anyone looking to explore this iconic destination.

Our guide, Sarge, was great! We went to the Grand Canyon (two stops) and then had lunch at a quaint cowboy ranch. We also had a brief stop at the Joshua tree forest . Nice tour.

Brandon was an amazing guide and so knowledgeable about the history and area. We loved the Grand Canyon and Skywalk and Hoover Dam, but the cherry on top was Casey at the Diamond Bar Ranch and the Bighorn Sheep sighting. Brandon truly made this a special and unique experience for our family! We definitely recommend this tour and especially Brandon!

Great way to take a day tour to the Grand Canyon. Brandon was our driver and tour guide. He was happy and smiling the whole trip. He told us some history about the area and about local tribes. We had a bit of a delay at the Skywalk bc a wedding was taking place but that was not anyone’s fault. The trip would up being about 9 hours because of that. Still because of the early pickup we were back in Vegas by 5 to see a show that night which is what we were looking for. Brandon was able to give us a “VIP” experience! A family of 4, we were the only ones on the trip so it was a private tour. We were driven right to the Skywalk area vs having to get out at the visitors center and take a tram with the bus loads of people. Brandon knew where to go for everything and what parts of the trip to do for the best experience. He even guided us on a little hike at Guano. The lunch food was delicious and service was great. Highly recommend the tour if you want to get back to Vegas at a reasonable hour and want to feel like you have a special VIP tour vs being part of a non-personal busload of people.

Our guide Mike felt like an old friend. Such a great guy full of knowledge and fun stories. He knew the ins and outs of avoiding the large tour groups and timed everything perfectly saving us literally a couple of hours waiting in lines! He alone made the tour fantastic adding to an amazing Grand Canyon Joshua Tree adventure

We think that our guides are the best but when we hear things like "felt like an old friend", we know it! Our small group tours are so much more personable than the big buses, and yes, our guides know our guests choose us, at least in part, for this reason. Eating at the Ranch and Cowboy Bob was so much fun. Our driver Joy was very knowledgeable and did a great job driving. I would recommend this trip for anyone who wants to see the Grand Canyon.

It was a great trip, lasted a bit more than 7 hours and was worth getting up early for a 7 AM pick-up at the hotel. Brandon is a great guide and made the trip very pleasant and easy for us.

Amazing day at the Grand Canyon west ridge spending lunch with the singing cowboy bib from desert wonder tours gave us a day to remember and Sharon our tour guide for the day was amazing would recommend using desert wonder tours they have so much to offer

Through the excellent services of Desert Wonder Tours, LLC with Bob as our guide, my wife and I were picked up at 8am for a day we won’t soon forget. Our trip to the West Rim took us through the beautiful Joshua Tree Forest. We purchased just one ticket for the Skywalk, but it was absolutely awe inspiring. I purchased the offered photos and will remember the experience for a long time! Also visited Guano Point and it was just as inviting with awesome views. After a great lunch at Western Ranch we were dropped off at our RV at Blake Ranch RV Park. To visit the Grand Canyon with including the West Rim would be a huge mistake!
