Beautiful hike great boat ride out. The first 20 minutes of the hike is a bit steep, but after that it is much more moderate and the payoff is totally worth the effort. I’d totally recommend Coldwater Alaska to my friends!

It was such a cool hike! It was about 3.5 miles or so and most of it was super easy. Would totally do it again if we are back in Homer!

Highly recommend Coldwater Alaska! The captain and deck hand were great! The whole trip was wonderful!

The hike itself was great. The lake and glacier were absolutely beautiful and we had great weather. That being said, paying over $100 for a 15-30 minute water taxi across the bay and back is quite expensive. I'm not sure it's quite worth the price.

We did the short challenging hike, close to 4 miles. We enjoyed our hike to the beautiful view of Grewingk Glacier, awesome scenery!
Captain Ben did a great job taking us to our drop off and picking us up and then showing us some puffins and sea otters! Thanks Captain Ben!!

Myself and the family greatly enjoyed the boat trip out to the bay for our hike!
Zach was an excellent captain and the boat was great!
They went above and beyond in showing us maps of the trail, having a good playlist on the boat ride, and a timely pick up after our hike!
Highly recommend!

This is not a guided hike, just a boat ride to the trailhead where you are left to your own devices. The boat operators point out the trail on their map but after that you are on your own in bear country without a guide or a map. Not what we expected. It’s a beautiful area with a well marked, heavily traveled trail. But nothing was said about this being self-guided. Second strike for us with Viator so we won’t be using them anymore.

Nice boat, nice hike, beautiful scenery. Trail is well marked. Don't know what else to say. This 100 character minimum is ridiculous

The trail is misleading as it show Grewingk Lake and not Grewingk Glacier. The boat captain drops you off at the State Park shore and you’re completely left alone to figure it out. We could have used a trail map. Just a suggestion, but we wouldn’t have felt so blind doing the hike.
