Meet at our Riverside Outpost 3299 Hartford Road, Hartford, TN 37753. We will transport you to the put-in, and you will raft back to the Outpost. All customers are required to check in 45 minutes before your trip schedule. It is very important to be there on time .

- Minimum age is 8 years old and minimum weight is 70 lbs (32 kg)
- Swimsuits and shorts work best. Secure shoes with a heel-strap are required (tennis shoes, water shoes, sport sandals with a heel-strap). Bare feet and flip-flops are not allowed. Don't forget to bring a change of clothes and a towel

This was a great experience for our Indiana family. From booking online, checking in, bus ride to the river, and the rafting experience, it was all perfect! We had Eve as our guide and she was so nice, informative, and fun. It was our first time white river rafting and we all loved it!! This was so much fun, and Tye was an excellent guide! We told him my 8 year old was nervous for his first time rafting, and Tye was great at reassuring him and making sure we had a safe and enjoyable day on the water. The company is extremely well organized, and safety oriented. Helmets and life vests were provided, and sanitized between users. The views were beautiful on the river, and all of us had a great time. We will be back next summer!

Liam was our guide. Great operation, smooth from start to finish. Lots of rafting operations all doing the same thing and basically on the river at same time so it matters that the company you decide to go with takes care of you. SMO does exactly that. They pump a lot of people through, but make check in easy and have a streamlined process. Fill out your waivers before you get there-makes life easier. Can’t say anything bad-we had a great day. You can’t get more than 7 on a boat- our three teenage girls got paired up with another family of four and had a blast. We had six in our raft plus guides. Super fun day and for the price, you can’t go wrong with SMO!

We had an amazing white water rafting trip with our teens! Our guide, Bart, was fantastic. He was not only experienced but also had extensive knowledge of the area, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The entire staff was professional and ensured we had a safe and thrilling adventure. It was a great time for the whole family, and we can’t wait to come back!

Very organized. Great trip! Great guide! All ages went. Class 3 & 4 but nothing too bad. Couple of bigger rapids but so fun. Clean facilities with chamging rooms & bathrooms. Highly recommend

Amazing experience overall! Booked on Viator, paid on premises. The experience was thrilling and worth every penny.
Kids ages 8 and 10 and mom and dad. We had a blast! Our guide Jay was also very friendly and reliable.

This is what we called our senior citizens white water rafting trip. My 58th birthday and other than my son I was the youngest :) It was so fun, even my husband who can't swim a lick faced his fears and did great. No one fell out of the boat, you have the option to get into a spin on the rapids which we did 2 times. That was fun. The guides are well trained. We had Alex (female) she was very good at guiding us down the river and full of knowledge about the area.. Def reccommend as a thing to do while in Tennessee will be going again.. Hubby says No been there done that I am good. Buy the pictures best 50$ you will spend on your trip!!

Our guide Eli was fantastic. Nobody fell overboard so he doesn't have to do alot of paperwork lol! All jokes aside I'd 100% do this again.

Awesome time! Sam our guide gave us an experience to remember. So much fun!! Good combination of rapids and relaxing. There is an option to have an extreme experience where you try to stay on the raft but the whilst one was just as fun! Must do while in Tennessee!

We took our 12-year-old son we adopted and 15 year old grandson. Unfortunately my husband had severe allergies and couldn’t make it so me and the boys went out there and had a ball. The guide was professional, informative, funny- had the kids laughing - and everyone of the pictures was full of big smiles on the kids’ faces. Well worth exploring and trying it. It was safe except the water was really cold. We all jumped in for a quick dip - bit shocking but once the initial shock was over/ what an adventure. Ir was a blast!! can’t say that enough - Thank you so much for the highlight of our vacation

I felt there was way too much floating time. I had gone before and thought it was great so brought my husband and we floated more than anything. Loved the camping area and might try to stay there next time but will probably skip the rafting.

Thank you for your feedback. The river dose have calm sections between the rapids and is great for beginners. If your looking for an intense river to raft on you should try the Gully in West Virginia. Glad you enjoyed your camping experience, we would be happy to have you back.

Checking-in and loading up was an easy process. They were very thorough with safety and instructions, as well as very humorous. Hayden was an amazing tour guide and kept excellent control of the raft at all times. We would highly recommend SMO and would definitely go back again.
