Such a fun activity! We learned a lot from Joe and really enjoyed the scenery. We had an amazing weather which probably also helped the general experience.
A thoughtful narrative of the area historically and ecologically, while being guided by someone equally safety conscious and attentive to kayaker’s abilities.
Joe was a great guide. He was laid back, knowledgeable, gave easy directions. He gave an interesting j sight I to the area and had a broad range of topics. Not really amazing scenery I think their Peninsula NP tours would be better scenery. But it was a fun afternoon.
The tour/excursion was canceled due to high winds in Green Bay and Lake Michigan. I respect this decision as the kayak course would have been rough and dangerous. Company and Viator immediately guaranteed a full refund within 3-5 days, and I truly anticipate credibility, as experienced in the past with Viator bookings.
Even though the weather wasn't great, our guide Nolan did a great job guiding us around the bay and shared some interesting information about the area. Nolan was very personable, kind and patient with me (I'm 74 and don't have lots of kayaking experience).
We loved the kayak tour. The water on the south part of the bay was calm and relaxing, the cliffs are a beautiful destination, and our guide struck a perfect balance of serenity, interesting local facts, and restaurant recommendations. Thank you!
