It was a GREAT adventure! Not hard, so relaxing and the cave was stunning. We had a great time, even after forgetting sunscreen. Jake was a great tour guide, fun, easy to talk with and we'd request him for sure again. Great time!

The description was nothing like online. This experience was for a more experienced Kayak. Water was choppy. Views were beautiful.

From time to time, the water can get choppy. But we do our best to choose days to kayak there that are calm. Saying that, wind and waves can change quickly. Make sure to book as early in your vacation as possible as well as the mornings are notoriously more calm than the afternoons.
It got cancelled due to weather unfortunately I wish we had more time to reschedule hope to try it again in the future

Are you giving us a 1 star review for keeping you safe from bad weather on the water? Just wanted to clarify what we did to deserve a 1 star? Just a reminder to future bookers looking at this 1 star review, to book as early in your vacation and as early in your day as possible to give a little buffer to allow us to give you an amazing enjoyable and safe experience on the water. Early morning tours 8am-10am are by far the calmest and most enjoyable.
Thank you Logan for the additional tow at the end of the tour. It was fun to do but got to be much with the waves.
Logan was amazing! Very knowledgeable about the area. Made the whole tour alot of fun. Also provided lots of go to places to explore while we were visiting

Trip cancelled due to weather. Did not get refund from Viator. This is a rip off. Need help. Please respond.

Robert, Please make this request with Viator, the booking platform that you booked the tour with. When you do that, we can approve the request. I know it can be difficult dealing with viator and getting a hold of them. If you book direct with our company next time; Door County Kayak Tours , it is easier to reschedule and cancel refund from our side. Once you request that from viator, I will approve it. Sorry to hear your tour was cancelled due to weather.
Sky was great guide very personable and made it fun. My partner and I enjoyed our time on the lake and the information given by our guide. The pace of trip was good and the location was gorgeous.
Eli was a fantastic! Great guide, he is a man of many stories! I would recommend going into the cave and taking a swim on a hot day.
We had an amazing time , Have you ever gone swimming in lake michigan? I did 😂 all part of the great experience we had kayaking no regrets worth every last penny. Our tour guides were fun and with us the whole time I would recommend this trip everyone 100%.
I got to do this tour solo and can truly say, from beginning to end I was laughing and smiling the entire time. From the people I met to our fantastic tour guide (shout out to Jake) - everyone was so kind!
You’ll hop on a bus for a quick ride before launch. And then the 4 mile tour over the course of two hours, lets you take in sites of Cave point, some of the shallow glistening crystal clear waters, the devils bathtub and (if you’re lucky and catch a really calm day, like we did) into one of the caves! The kayaks are well maintained, comfortable and are tandem (or single if you book solo!) making the trek easy.
Jake had humor and wit, always keeping the group on their toes - while making sure everybody could keep pace and felt comfortable.
If you’re looking to get active and see some Door County sights from a different point of view, all while enjoying some cheesy humor and fun facts - this is the tour for you!
They even rescued my phone from the bottom of the lake - 10/10 would recommend.
Tabitha was such a great guide! She gave us some interesting info while out on the tour. The day was so great weather wise. I would definitely recommend. But be warned, and this is coming from an athlete...kayaking 3 miles round-trip is not as easy as I thought!
Laid back kayaking with great views. Ethan was informative and polite and friendly. Tabitha started out with us and her crew went onto a 4 hour. Both very welcoming and had lots of info.
We enjoyed a great Kayaking trip along Cave Point park. Our guide, Zack shared some interesting facts and was very personable.
Despite the cool day and cold water, we had a great time! The water was a little too rough to get close to the caves, but it was still a great experience. Our guide was attentive and friendly.
A beautiful time on Lake Michigan and great for a novice kayaker. Instruction was clear and simple. Cliff views like no other, fun facts about the area, and option adventure opportunities at no added cost.
The cave point kayak your was our favorite part of our trip to door county. Stephanie was a great guide.
