Great time at Taste of Italy Pizza and Gelato cooking class with Niccolò while visiting Florence. Niccolò was welcoming and very attentive. We had a private experience as it was January and the only group to register. We were very appreciative he didn't cancel our reservation (like another company did due to lack of reservations). The kitchen was immaculate. Niccolò was a great host and made sure we were well attended to throughout the experience. He was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly and answered the abundance of questions we through at him. We were able to choose from a variety of pizza toppings for our pizza. We learned about some of the history of making gelato. He chose the flavor of gelato - honey, which was delicious. He served beverages throughout our "lesson", water, bottomless Prosecco and Aperol spritz. A great time had by all. Would definitely recommend this experience and will likely do it again with a group when we return to Tuscany in the fall. Thank you, Niccolò, for an unforgettable experience!

This was a great class for the family. Niccolo was so friendly, and took his time working with the kids (and adults for that matter). He really takes pride in making good food and a great experience for everyone. This is a locally run business, and I would highly recommend taking the Pizza and Gelato class if you can!

We had an amazing experience at this pizza and gelato class in Florence. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by both the chef and the hostess, who were incredibly kind and attentive. We were even greeted with welcome drinks, which set a great tone for the class.
It was a semi-private session with just one other couple, making the experience feel personal and relaxed. The instructions were clear, engaging, and easy to follow, and the chef made sure to keep everything fun while still teaching proper techniques.
They went above and beyond—making extra pizza for us to enjoy, and every bite was delicious. The gelato was absolutely incredible as well. The entire team was friendly, the environment was clean and well-prepared, and everything felt thoughtfully organized.
Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Florence—it was truly one of the highlights of our trip!

Welcoming atmosphere that felt like I was in the kitchen of family/close friend. We all (mom, dad, 10 yo daughter, 8 yo son) had a wonderful time. Everyone stayed engaged the entire class and learned a lot. We would have considered additional classes if we were in Florence longer.

We loved this experience. Making our own pizza and gelato was a blast, and the kids couldn’t stop talking about it — they said it was the best pizza they’ve had so far on the trip. Super fun, hands-on, and a great family memory. Would absolutely do it again.

AMAZING!!!! You must take this class. Niccolo was our chef and treated us like family!! We will be back. Learned a lot about making pizza and gelato. The kitchen was roomy and beautifully done. If you are visiting Florence, you must take this class, you will not be disappointed!! A++++

We had an amazing experience at Taste of Italy! My husband, our two kids, my mom, and my stepfather all joined the pizza and gelato class, and it was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Florence. The class was incredibly interactive and informative — the instructors made every step easy to follow and fun for all ages.
The kids loved getting hands-on with the dough, and the adults learned tips we’ll definitely use at home. And of course, everything was absolutely delicious!

This cooking class experience was amazing. We have a 13, 10, and 8 year old. They loved the experience of making pizza and gelato. This was their favorite pizza of all the ones they had during our week in Italy. The Chef was very knowledgeable and very enjoyable to talk to. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Florence.

Amazing experience. Chef was incredible and very interactive. The steps and process was great to participate with. It was a small group with only 2 families. We made pizza, cookies and gelato to eat for lunch. The authentic Florence pizza was amazing. Great event to do whilst in Florence and worth the time and money.

My family and I enjoyed the cooking class and loved sharing it with lots of other cool families. We will certainly replicate making the pizza at home. My family was looking forward to this particular outing very much. We were not disappointed. It was well put together, clean, the place they held the class was beautiful. We made pizzas, gelato and sorbet and the most amazing cookies made from the egg whites not used. Nothing went to waste. We enjoyed eating everything we made along with some delicious wine. The chef and assistant were so fun, and the time went by too fast. I would highly recommend setting aside a day to do this class. you won't be disappointed.

The chef instructor was very patient and very knowledgeable, beautiful setting in Tuscany with glass staircase and skylights. The techniques and knowledge base from the experienced chef were golden nuggets. Truly enjoyed the time here!
