Really knowledgeable, helpful and friendly guide. I particularly enjoyed the breathtaking views from the hills around Florence and learning about the history. Olive groves, monasteries, city walls, so much history Definitely worth doing. Even enjoyed the bumps in the road

Amazing and personal experience. Eman was a great tour guide with a a wealth of knowledge. The pace was perfect. Never felt rushed at any moment. The points of interest offered stunning views and intimate landscapes through the hidden corridors of Florence. I enjoy the small personal guided experiences and this was top tier. Thanks again!

We did the golf cart tour around Florence today and honestly it ended up being one of the best things we booked on the trip. Mehdi was awesome — super friendly, funny, and knew a ton about the city without making it feel like a boring history lecture. He showed us spots we definitely would’ve missed walking on our own and gave us great recommendations for food and places to go later. The golf cart was also perfect after days of nonstop walking in Rome and Florence. Easy way to see a lot of the city without being exhausted. Mehdi made the whole tour feel relaxed and personal instead of rushed. Highly recommend asking for him if you book.

Went to meeting place and no one showed up to give us the tour we paid for. We paid for a taxi to go to the meeting place. That cost us an addiction lol you additional twenty five dollars.

Probably the worst “tour” I have ever booked with Viator who are usually known (or at least my experience) for pretty solid tours and guides. We had initially booked a tour for 4pm and were told that instead we would start at 5pm given some issue with one of the guides - which wasn’t an issue and we appreciate the advance notice and communication on this. This tour was advertised as being guided and instead we had two individuals, who barely spoke to us and there was absolutely no commentary at all during the tour. I’m pretty sure they did not have the requisite knowledge or expertise to point out what we were driving by. The only thing they pointed out was a house that apparently the actress Angelina Jolie stayed at for one of her film shoots - completely unrelated to what we’d signed up for. I had read there was some audio recordings in other tours - we did not even get that in our tour. Furthermore, the tour was advertised as being at least 1 hour and 45 minutes. We visited two spots with panoramic views but skipped the other highlights that were advertised and the driver concluded the drive 45 minutes in. Not sure what happened to the other hour that we were promised and had paid for. A complete rip off and honestly we would have had a better time ourselves rather than pay for this experience. Do not recommend at all - Viator should really investigate whether this is a reputable tour operator and surprised they would promote this.

You see amazing views on the tour, but the golf carts are in bad shape. The tour guides do not speak English. They barely tell you what anything is almost gotten into an accident. The one tour guide did not even know which way to drive the golf cart.

There is very minimal explanation on the tour. The guide was friendly and polite and was a good driver, but we mostly drove in silence. We started a little late because the golf cart he brought originally didn’t seat enough people for the group, but it was remedied within 10 minutes.

It was kind of hard to find our driver because GoogleMaps pinned the meeting place on the other side of the bridge, BUT, once we found him, it was a great experience! He was a great driver, the route was fun, we stopped and took pictures at scenic locations, and he knew a lot about Florence and its history. Well worth it - and lots of fun!

Fun and Memorable

Booking was simple and easy, our mistake was that we thought the cart seated 6. They only seat 5 plus the driver! Upon arrival they advised there was another cart coming but this then arrived with 2 other couples in so one of us had to split off and join another cart. The guide did apologise as the 3rd cart was apparently faulty (?) One of our guides wasn't forthoming with extra information about places we passed and stopped at, but the other was. There was recorded info at 3 points played, at the other places you were left to mooch around for a short time. It would be good for the company to ensure the guides have plenty of local and historical knowledge and the confidence to share it, plus a small microphone as the people at the back of the cart weren't able to hear. That all said, it was good fun, we made some new friends, it was memorable and we saw things we wouldn't have on foot.

Pleasant ride with friendly guide but hardly any information offered. Recoded info played three times which was total of three minutes. No speaker for those in back to hear properly.

We really enjoyed this golf cart tour. I was wanting to see the panoramic views of Florence and this tour delivered! Mahomad was our driver and very kind and gave us a scenic tour of areas we had not experienced. The golf cart was older and could’ve been nicer and that’s the reason for 4 stars not 5. He was late getting there and I was worried it was going to be one of the no shows I had read about but he did finally arrive. Thankfully he did. We had almost gotten in with another driver and tour company that was nearby and available. The meeting spot was odd but it works out for the tour since it takes place on the other side of the river.

Our driver, Medi, was fun and engaging. We saw the Tuscan hills from a part of the city we wouldn’t have gone to otherwise. Saw some cool neighbourhoods outside of the city centre. And the views of the city from the piazza michaelangelo were spectacular.

Terrific tour. Beautiful countryside scenery away from the city traffic with a panoramic view of the city of Firenze. Our guide was fun and informative with a little history of the area without being boring and told about notable residents like Galileo and the author of Pinocchio. He stopped at picturesque places he knew so we could take photos and toured a unique church. I would definitely recommend this tour.
