Fantastic views from the top! I’m in my 60’s and a hiker, I took the steps slow at my own pace and had fun!! Our family had a beautiful time in the museum too.

The tour was great and very informative, and skipping the lines was very nice! Helena did a great job at keeping a good pace so the group wouldn't get tired too quickly. She did so well that the dome climb felt pretty easy, though, it should be noted that you need to be in good physical condition to do the climb. This is definitely a must do tour in Florence.

Helena was AMAZING. So knowledgeable. The trip up to the Duomo is not for the faint of heart! Seriously, small corridors and tight walkways hundreds of feet in the air but the view is incredible. We did this in December and it was perfect, I would not recommend this in the summer heat given the tight conditions.

Our Duomo tour was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and knew the history of the Duomo, Baptist history, and Belltower very well. She was from Florence so she was very knowledgeable about the city.

Great tour. The tour guide spoke clearly, was understandable, entertaining and very knowledgeable. There are a lot of stairs, but even at 65 I had no problem handling it.

Elisabetta is incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the city and the many artists whose work is contained within the museum. In particular, she took the time to identify works representing advances in artistic styles and changes in philosophical thought from the medieval times to Renaissance, such as the evolution of perspective and the switch from tempera paints to oils, and the move from purely religious to human subjects.

Thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Brian who shared his knowledge of Florence's history and the Duomo. It makes a huge difference to have skip the line access to the dome so you can avoid lines. We climbed both the dome and the bell tower and would highly recommend the dome for the unobstructed panoramic views and the close up viewing of the frescoed ceiling.

The tour of the Duomo was spectacular and the guide was simple the most knowledgeable about its history. We all loved her and it was money well spent.

When visiting Florence you have to visit the Duomo! And there is no better tour than this!! Elena was our tour host and we can’t say enough nice things about her! She was knowledgeable, funny, interesting and very passionate about this beautiful city and, of course, the Duomo! The view of the frescoed dome and the sweeping city scape were amazing!! The lines to get in were tremendous - it was worth the price to skip the hours we would have spent waiting! Plus, we wouldn’t have gotten so much great information from Elena!! Loved this day!!

This tour was amazing...a tour of a lifetime and if you are able and willing to navigate many stairs in a tight environment, DO IT!! The views were astounding and the history provided by our lovely tour guide Brian (yes, he is half Italian, half Dutch) was uncompromised! It may seem pricey, but it is worth the expense....what a grand experience!!

One gets to see and learn about many historical facts from very knowledgeable tour guides.
Excellent experience to climb to the top of the dome.

The 463 steps to the top were not easy, so get in shape! Tour was very interesting and the painting on the ceiling was remarkable

Tour was fantastic. Helena (guide) was informative, engaging, and did not overwhelm you with excess information. Great balance. Dome climb was a highlight with great views. You must have good physical mobility to complete the climb. Overall a great experience.
Gary_L, Oct 2025
Viola was a great guide. Very knowledgeable and easy to understand. The tickets give you Duomo access for 3 days

463 steps to the top of the dome. The first 150 steps are the hardest, then it gets better, with an incredible view on the outside of the dome waiting. I was concerned about the climb but more than happy I made it. I’m 69 years old and my wife 73 and we both made it.
The museum was stunning and the inside of the church is a must see.

Marvellous views of Florence once you get to the top. Unforgettable experience but wouldn’t suit anyone who is claustrophobic or doesn’t like heights!
Leslie_S, Oct 2025
This was a wonderful tour, we really enjoyed it and highly recommend it. Its really nice when you are learning about what you are seeing and the guide went above and beyond to share as much information as possible.

Great personalized tour by our guide. Being personalized it felt we learned more and had a better understanding.
Think our guides name was Guido?? It was the 2:15 on 10/7. Just awesome

Great guide! Great history lesson. The climb was not as bad as I suspected and the views were spectacular!
Thomas_D, Oct 2025
It is a very, very challenging climb up to the domo, and if you have vertigo, you may want to rethink this.
Chrysti_J, Oct 2025
Fantastic tour and a great experience. If you are not fit or claustrophobic, the climb of the dome may not be for you. I loved it but my hubby felt a little trapped at times.
Phil_M, Oct 2025
Great tour of museum, duomo and duomo climb. Guide was very informative and kept things moving at a great pace.
Maria_C, Oct 2025
Christina our guide was great and knowledgeable about all things about the duomo and led at a great pace. A very fun experience, highly recommend! Best views of the city from the top of the dome!
Carly_B, Sep 2025
A great tour to book to skip the line! We walked straight in, even though there was a 2.5 hour queue!
Brittany_D, Sep 2025
Had an amazing time learning about the history of the baptistery doors, the duomo, and the dome from Guido, our amazing guide. The skip the line feature is so nice!

This was an excellent tour (ours was provided by Kristina)! We learned so much and had a wonderful time with our group, including the trek up to the top of the dome. Highly recommend this tour!
Melissa_V, Sep 2025
Aurora was a wonderful guide. She made sure everyone on tour was comfortable along the way. I liked the use of iPad to show us pics in relation to the tour. Wear comfy shoes and clothes if you plan to climb the Duomo staircases.
Katherine_C, Sep 2025
It does involve a lot of climbing, as communicated in the description. The view from the top of the Duomo was magnificent.
