If you are lucky you will get Lisa as your instructor. THREE pastas with 3 different sauces. A nice, clean and large place to work in. Was the best meal we have had so far while here! Should be a must do when visiting.

This was a fantastic experience from beginning to end, we had so much fun making 3 different types of pasta and then getting to eat it all! Our instructor, Chef Roberta was perfect, she took her time helping each one of us along, she was funny, professional and very personable. We couldn’t have asked for a better teacher!

I had such a wonderful experience in this cooking class with Alicie! I was incredibly lucky to be the only one who signed up that day, so I ended up having a private, one-on-one class with her — which made it even more special. Alicie is truly amazing. She’s engaging, informative, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. Her communication skills are excellent, and she explains each step clearly, making everything easy to follow. She created such a warm and welcoming atmosphere that I felt completely at ease in the kitchen. We made two types of pasta — tagliatelle with pesto and pumpkin ravioli — and both turned out absolutely delicious. Chef’s kiss! 😄 She also taught me how to make vanilla gelato from scratch, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. Wine was provided as well, which made the whole experience feel even more authentic and enjoyable. One of the best parts was sitting down to enjoy everything we had cooked together. I was so full afterward and even had plenty of leftovers to bring back to my hotel! I had such a lovely time with Alicie and would highly recommend this class to anyone visiting Florence. I hope to be back soon — and I will definitely be attending one of her classes again!

Pasta making class, a unique experience and a lot of fun!

Michael_R, Apr 2026
The pasta making class was really a lot of fun. The instructor Matteo was great, even though he said it was his first time teaching a cooking class. He explained everything very well and answered all questions, and demonstrated how to do everything. He is very pleasant and has a great sense of humor. My only criticism is that we did not get any instructions on making gelato, only eating gelato and provided with the recipe. I think it would have been good to have a demonstration on how to make the recipe, I think it could have been done in the allotted time.

Best Pasta I had in Florence! Definitely a fun experience, Jon was super kind. Nice to be in a small group.

Great time with the family

nicholas_w, Apr 2026
Really fun. The whole family had a great time. The chef running the class was very personable and the class ran smoothly. The food ended up tasting great.

Awesome Experience

Paul_H, Apr 2026
Much, much better than expected. The chefs ((Alice and Joe) were real pros. They were entertaining, engaging and informative. They explained what we were going to cook, how to do it and why. After the "work" was done, we had a fantastic meal. Awesome experience.

So much fun!

You won’t regret it!

Brianna_D, Apr 2026
Absolutely recommend! My husband and I attended - and the 3 hours flew by! Roberta and Matteo were lovely, so informative, and very helpful! The total class had 8 people, but we were split into two tables of 2 which allowed for more space to roll our dough, make the pasta, and watch the instructions. We made 3 different pastas with 3 different sauces, all unique and delicious in their own right. You won’t regret buying tickets!

Great class and excellent teacher

JARROD_C, Apr 2026

Really great class. It was a master pasta making class that served lemons sorbeto rather than pasta and gelato making. That’s okay because we made 3 different pastas and pasta sauces. Our lead chef was awesome, explained how to make everything with a lot of detail. There were other families along with ours with kids in the class as well and the head chef and her assistant helped the kids if they needed it and included them in the sauce making demonstration It was lovely and now we know how to make 3 types and weee given a digital copy of all the recipes they use for their classes.

What a relaxing, fun and informative afternoon! We made our own pasta and helped make gelato we feasted on afterwards. For a genuinely enjoyable time I highly recommend this!

Do this great class

Harry_T, Feb 2026
Magnificent experience. The class is accessible to children (we had a well behaved six-year-old at our table). The food we made was tasty! The instructors are fluent in English and create humor, fun, and teaching.

food was good. learned about cooking techniques. Class did not include gelato. This was misleading. Chef was argumentative and rather disengaged with teaching the class. Was hoping for a more relaxing and fun experience.

Response from Host, Jan 2026

Dear Guest, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your feedback — we truly appreciate it. Reviews like yours are extremely important to our team, as they help us reflect and continuously improve the experiences we create with so much passione. We are sincerely sorry that your experience did not fully match your expectations and that it felt less relaxing and engaging than you had hoped. We regret that this was your perception, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Regarding the gelato, we would like to clarify that it is included as a chef-led demonstration rather than a fully interactive, hands-on activity. This format is intentionally designed to fit within the structure of a 3-hour class, which aims to balance learning, participation, and enjoyment, while keeping the pace engaging and accessible for all participants. That said, we understand how this may have felt misleading, and we are sorry if this aspect was not communicated clearly enough beforehand. We are also sorry to hear that the interaction with the chef did not feel as warm or involved as expected. Our philosophy is rooted in sharing Italian culinary traditions in a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere — come a casa — and it is disappointing to know that this spirit did not fully come across during your class. Please know that your comments have been shared with our team and the kitchen staff, as constructive feedback like yours is invaluable to us. We hope you might consider giving us another opportunity in the future, perhaps in a different destination, cooking class, or even on one of our guided tours — we would love the chance to offer you a more memorable and joyful Italian experience, full of flavors, stories, and that unmistakable Italian warmth. Thank you again for your honesty, and we wish you all the best. Warm regards, The Towns of Italy Team

This was a great experience and definitely recommended. Alicia was a fantastic instructor and provided all the information we needed to have a fun and learn at the same time!

Boring

Lizelie_L, Nov 2025
We have taken several classes across the country yet this is by far the lowest scoring. On the bright side, the final result was good. But to tell the truth, class was boring, all 3 kids both from mine and other groups were absolutely bored and wanting out as soon as possible, and us grown ups were not even listening. Roasting customers for their cooking, nationality or way of preparing or storing food not cool. I mean, people can take a joke or two, but at some point, is just awkward and people just put up with it and wait for the class to be over. After very awkwardly reaching their diplomas, when the class was done, people couldn't get out fast enough.

Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re truly sorry that your experience did not reflect the welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere we aim to create. Our intention is never to make guests uncomfortable, but to entertain, teach, and share Italian culinary traditions with kindness and passion. We sincerely appreciate your honesty and will review your comments with our team to improve. We hope to have the chance to welcome you again in the future.

Absolutely best experience I’ve had in Florence. The chefs were instructive, personable and fun. Great afternoon with amazing food.

Excellent Pasta and Excellent Experience

Annah_E, Oct 2025
Chefs Niccolo and Jon were so much fun! We had a great time making pasta and Gelato. It was 3 hours of laughter, 2 hours of that with wine included. We were part of a small crowd of about 12 and it was a very personal, homey style of teaching. This class is best for anyone looking for a fun, relaxing 3 hours learning how to make foods that taste delicious and recipies that you can take home for future use.

Very fun, informative and delicious!

Sylvia_D, Oct 2025
I loved this cooking class, Tomas was very informative and fun to work with. I took the extended class (5 hours) which included going to the Market Centrale, very impressive. I really enjoyed the “hands-on” cooking lesson, from helping with the Bolognese sauce, to making handmade pasta, then Tiramisu. And of course enjoying the fruits of our labor! 😋

Fun, Food, and Family!

Sally_W, Oct 2025
If you’re debating doing this tour, just sign up! It was a great experience! Our hosts, Lisa and Roberta, were fun and engaging. The instruction was great and we all feel confident that we can recreate our recipes when we get home.

Lots of tips on making your own pasta and fun! John and his coworker were great! Definitely would recommend !

100% take this class you won’t regret it!

jennifer_s, Oct 2025
Going into this experience I was excited about making pasta and learning about how they do it in Italy. I was not expecting to have one of the best nights in Rome! Lisa and Roberta were our chefs and they were amazing. Knowledgeable but also with a touch of comedy that kept the evening light and joyful. Also the food at the end was so delicious! I would recommend to anyone who wants a touch of traditional Italian food, along with the experience of creating it!
