Julia was an excellent guide. She was diligent about taking time to show us places of interest, taking photos of us, recommending places to go for great local food. She was not simply focused on the tourist points. She also showed us places the locals like to go. Different restaurants, places for a drink, gellatto, markets, etc. She didn't rush us at any of the places we stopped to visit. She made an otherwise hot day, very pleasant and truly memorable.

This was the first thing we did when we got to Florence. It was a great way to get oriented to the city. Our guide, Julia, was fabulous. She studied art history and has a passion for Florence and its transcendent beauty. She was very personable and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!.

We didnt have alot of time in Florence and this tour gave you a brief look at the main attractions in Florence. It was well organised, The guide was amazing. She was really helpful and patient with us. We seen and learnt so much on our tour. We are so glad we chose to do this. We had enough time for photos etc and if you found something that interested you, you could always go back by yourself later

Our guide Lorenzo was knowledgeable and passionate about the history of Florence. He made our ride fun and knew great roads to take that were less busy. Book this tour, you will not be disappointed. Great bikes with bells, a bag and helmet.

Highly recommend. Riding was fairly easy Hihly recommend! Very easy ride even with all the traffic and people walking about. Got to see and hear the history behind the sites we stopped at. The guide pointed out things to go see, areas locals shop and eat at. The guide even pointed out little details you might not know even notice as you took in all the sites. L

This was such a fun and beautiful way to see Florence without all of the monotonous walking. We had children with us and this kept them well entertained and busy. Our tour guide- she was helpful, knowledgeable, personable, and patient, always making sure no one got lost or left behind.

A bike tour is the best way to start a visit to a new city. This bike tour is a great way to start your visit to Florence and get oriented with the city, whilst learning the main sights (and gelato spots).

The ride itself around Florence was a great overview of the city. The guide was very informative, although at times it would have been nice to have more of a historical overview than such in-depth history. Guide rode through crowds and traffic lights without checking to be sure everyone got through with him, and we lost sight of him several times, once almost missing a turn and losing the group altogether.

Amazing way to see Florence! We were able to cover so much ground and learned along the way. My entire family loved it!! Highly recommend!

It is essential to arrive early for this. Our guide Guila was absolutely wonderful. We saw Elizabeth Barrett Browning’s house, pictures with the Ponte Vecchio in view.

This was a great way to start our trip to Florence. Jacqueline was very knowledgeable. And helped us navigate through the tiny streets of Florence. She also highlighted the main attractions as well as some of the local restaurants, gelatos, etc. Highly recommend.

We nearly canceled the tour, but we're so glad we didn't. The guide took us through beautiful Florence, including visits to the church where Michelangelo is buried and Dante's church, where his platonic love rests. Lovely bike ride

Wonderful tour with a knowledgeable tour guide. We had so much fun riding around Florence on nice bikes learning so much about the city. Easy pace and she guides you safely through the beautiful city. Must do this if you are visiting Florence.

My partner and I did a private tour with one of the ladies there. She was the best and even in the cold rain was able to give us a great experience with lots of information. Would book through them again!!

We truly enjoyed biking through Florence to see all of the sights. We had minimal time and this gave us a well rounded view of the city. Julia was fun, warm and knowledgeable. We enjoyed lots of laughter together.

Julia was an absolute delight. It felt like I was out hanging out with a best friend. This was my second trip to Florence and she took me to sites I missed during my previous visit. Extremely informative. The other people in my group had cancelled their reservation nonetheless she took me out by myself. What an amazing treat. We made a couple of stops to enjoy a famous dessert and a famous coffee with gelato plus she took pictures. I rarely write reviews. Much well deserved. Thank you Julia for such memorable experience and for being so kind.

Our guide (Julia?) provided good information, and she made an extra stop (not in the original itinerary) for some FANTASTIC views!

So much fun. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and you could tell she loves her job. Riding around on bikes and stopping at different locations is so much nicer than walking. 100% recommend.
Mario_N, Oct 2025
It's a fantastic way to see all the sights and get some great local insights, Juliet was entertaining with sharing the local Italian way of life
Grant_W, Oct 2025
It is an excellent tour with plenty of stops and lots of history & interesting stories. Our tour guide, Juliana was very professional and always had an answer for any questions posed to her. The bike ride was casual and not challenging. The bikes were very good quality and the meeting point is quite close to the Duomo. If you want to see old Florence and like history, this is the company you choose.

A nice way to see the city. Florence is beautiful but there are lots of tourists. Guide was informative, entertaining, took questions and and showed us both sides of the river. The tour did run almost 45 minutes past the advertised length. Not complaining, just something to keep in mind especially if you have other bookings and plans for the day.
Pro-tip: Beware the crowds and keep your eyes open for chaotic vehicle and foot traffic. The city center is VERY crowded.

Our family of 5 booked this bike tour and we had a blast! The sweet and pretty lady who checked us in was professional! The bikes were new and excellent condition. It was helpful that the facility had a bathroom (we just came from seeing the Statue of David which was less than 10 minute walk).
We learned so much from Julia! She was like a walking encyclopedia! She took us to all the highlights of Florence! And she made sure we were all safe. I was always the one behind and she always checked up that no one got lost.
We all had an ear piece (which was super helpful) so we heard stories and facts from the places we passed! We learned about people, history, art, fashion, food, etc. It was wonderful passing by a local bakery where we were able to buy treats that we wanted to eat.
The 2 hours flew by! Our daughter booked a museum entry 30 minutes after the scheduled ending and that was our mistake. The tour may go past 12 pm plus you may want to go back to spend more time at the restaurants, plazas, etc that the guide introduced to you!
Thank you, Julia, for being an EXCELLENT guide! Your passion was evident! You are a true Florence Ambassador!

We did the 5:00 tour and loved it. Our guide, Julia, was very knowledgeable and accommodating. She was clearly passionate about her city and gave us insights into the history and lots of tips and local pointers. She added to the itinerary to take us to a sight we were interested in. The bikes were comfortable and rode well. The evening time slot gave us great light for photos, even timing a sunset behind Ponte Veccio. A great way to get an overview of the city for us first time visitors.

What a great activity, riding a bike around the beautiful city of Florence. Our guide Julia was friendly and incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a historical perspective of the churches and palaces we stopped to see. She also pointed out good restaurants, famous gelato stores and bakeries. This was really a fun ride. Highly recommend.
