A must-do tour

Our guide, Fabrizio de Lorenzo is an art historian and was absolutely outstanding. my 17 yo daughter and I learned so much about Renaissance and pre-Renaissance Florence. Going down the side streets around the Duomo and Uffizi he pointed out fascinating details on buildings that reflect the old culture that one would never otherwise appreciate. It set the stage beautifully for our later tours of Duomo, Academia and Uffizi since we already had a picture of Florentine life in those days.
