Beginning in the center of the city, meet your guide for a brief safety overview to ensure you’re comfortable on an e-bike before hitting the streets.
With your local guide leading the way, head through the charming streets toward the historic city center. Travel from the Basilica of Santa Croce, pausing to admire its impressive white and green marble façade before continuing along the river toward the Piazzale Michelangelo, famous for its beautiful viewpoint.
Continue to the Basilica San Miniato al Monte, one of the oldest churches in the city, and along the Viale Galileo, wrapping your tour off with a visit to the Piazza De' Pitti and the Ponte Santa Trinita.
With your local guide leading the way, head through the charming streets toward the historic city center. We originally booked the e-scooter tour but they allowed us to switch to the e-bike as my son got sick 15 minutes prior to our tour. They were very accommodating, and we were grateful. We had “Guido the Guide” and he was very knowledgeable. We opted for the hill tour and it was beautiful. A perfect day for a bike ride. My husband and I hadn’t been on a bike in years and we never used an e-bike before. They were very easy to operate; even for an out-of-shape novice like me. We had a wonderful time and recommend Guido and Fat Tire Tours for anyone looking for a fun tour experience.

Guido, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional as we made out e-scooter journey throughout the city. Admittedly, driving through the crowds was a bit scary but we made it through just fine. Would highly recommend!!!

This was a great experience and fun way to see many of the main attractions around Florence city. The E-Scooters were a lot of fun and Poalo was an excellent tour guide. A very knowledgeable local with obvious passion for his marvelous city.

Our guide, Marza (Marsha) was great and very knowledgeable. Provided great insight, recommendations and some cool modern info that we did not get anywhere else. Downtown was way too crowded so she pivoted and took us to another area with a great view.

We HIGHLY recommend this tour company. Our nighttime Segway tour actually got canceled because of "logistical issues", so we were offered a nighttime bicycle tour (longer duration/less cost) as an alternative option, which we decided to take. Wow. SO glad things worked out as they did. Our guide, Stephania, is just simply an outstanding human being. She is just a total delight. Her knowledge of the history of Florence is fantastic and her enthusiasm shines through without seeming to be "put on" like so many tour guides can come across. We just adored her, our other tour companions, and the relaxed enjoyment, which included a stop looking down on the banks of the Arno river, with wine and self-provided snacks. My husband and I agree this was a highlight during our 21-day European vacation.

Francesca led the tour and she was phenomenal. She is so knowledgeable. We learned a lot and hung on her every word. The Segway added to the excitement. I would 200% recommend this tour. We took the tour at night and the crowds had died down. All I can say is it is worth the money!!

Worthwhile tour that helps you to get your bearings of the beautiful city of Florence. I was a little disappointed at the length of time it took to get started and also I would have prefered it if the tour had included a stop at the Michealangeo Piazza but otherwise the guide was very knowledgeable and it was a lot of fun

This was a fabulous tour and Martzia was our tour guide with Segway Italy. She was very informative and entertaining. We covered a huge amount of territory on the Segways and will highly recommend the tour to start your visit to Florence to get an overview on the city. The gelatto at the end was an added plus.

We had a great time zipping around Florence at night. It was the first time on a Segway for eveyone in my family and we loved it. It was a great way to see the city and our guide was fantastic. The gelati shop we were supposed to visit was closed, so we did not get the gelati or hot chocolate that was promised. That was the only disappointing part. We were there in December and it was very cold that night. We thought they would have taken us to one of the other dozen or more open gelati shops and bars that were within a block or two of the closed shop, but they did not. Overall, however, it was a fun experience.

This tour was so much fun!!!! We had never been on Segway, but our tour guide took the time to teach and let us practice... she was also helpful throughout the tour if you needed help with your Segway. It was a great way to quickly get around Florence and be able to see so many diverse locations. Our tour guide was AMAZING!! She was not only very knowledgeable, but also light and fun, answering questions, joking with all of us and you could overall tell she really just loved what she did!

Benedetta was a fantastic guide!! Patient as guests learned the Segways. She is very knowledgable and enthusiastic about Florence. The sights came to life with her stories! Only thing to change-confirmation was vague about storage for packages, having water with you and navigating steps. Fun tour!!

We would give this tour a 6 star rating if possible. Great way to see all the main sights of Florence by night. Each main stop also has an audio tour which gives you interesting facts about it.
We enjoyed it so much that have decided to book the same tour in Rome as well.

We LOVED this tour! I wish I could remember the name of our tour guide. We loved her accent! Her knowledge of the history of Florence was staggering! Cruising around Florence in the evening on our Segways was so relaxing and refreshing, as it was much cooler out. I highly recommend this company!

Bernadette was a great tour guide. We had a blast and the segway was truly easy to adapt to. We did it the first night we got to Florence and what a wonderful way to see the city. Ended with a delicious gelato, yummy! Highly recommend!

The location of the start is easy to find. Bennie did a fantastic job. Best 2+ hours ever on a Segway. Tour hit all the highlights and was beyond informative with some local tidbits thrown in.

We got to Florence in the afternoon so it was too late to go on any scheduled tours. So I booked this Segway tour which starts right before sun down. It is such a fun experience. We were a small group of four and our guide took us everywhere in the city in 2.5 hours. She was excellent. Learning how to use the Segway was a breeze. You don't get to go into any of the sites in the tour but you definitely get a feel for what you want to come back and visit during the day. And you do it while it is cool at night. The tour ends at a excellent Gelato store where they treat you to a small two flavored cup of Gelato.

Loved the activity, it is really is a lot of fun to zooming around all the tourist highlights at night when it is a lot quieter and not as many people around.
