Connect with your private guide at your Florence hotel in the morning, and set off by foot on a walking tour of the city’s historic heart, where time seems to have frozen for centuries. Our guide was amazing. She met us at our hotel, and gauged our interests to customize our tour. She guided us through the city providing us with extensive details about the history and timeline of the key city sites. It was a nice pace and hit all the highlights. It completely changed my opinion of the city to see it through a historical lens, as I had been underwhelmed prior to the tour.

Okay tour - not worth the price compared to other tours.

Very nice and knowledgeable tour guide, but the tour is a bit too average for the price. It was nice to hear about the city but it was too focussed on general info and fun facts that felt very disjointed rather than a good overview of the history and setting of Florence. We left having seen a lot but knowing very little about the greater history and significance of Florence. Overall, compared to other tours we did in Florence, this one lacked a clear narrative, context, and structure and relies too much on random information about art and architecture.

Amazing historical expert.

Manuel was an amazing historical expert to guide us through the city of Florence. He was incredibly accommodating to our schedule and my father’s limited mobility needs. He took us to some major tourist areas and many hidden gems. The final stop for our tour was for some amazing gelato and it just ended the day perfectly. Through it all, he kept our group of 10 organized and was just a warm and kind person to speak with throughout. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
