The Company Viator contracted with cancelled my family’s Uffizi tour (weeks in advance) canceled our tickets at 1am in the morning on the day of our tour. No reason. No alternative. The company (Star Florence) did not respond to messages or calls to rectify and Viator had no recourse or solutions other than to apologize. A quick review of the underlying performance of Star Florence revealed a pattern of these last minute failures. Why isn’t Viator reviewing these relationships as well? Major disappointment.

Amazing museum.

Made tickets purchase easy. Disappointed that we couldn’t come back in later in the same day. Travel agent told us we could, so we weren’t able to and missed two entire floors. I recommend morning and plan on spending most of the day. There are incredible pieces of art. There is a cafe, so we were able to eat there.

We underestimated the magnitude of the Uffizi. We were blown away by the amount of amazing art and history. We did not do an organized tour, which allowed us to move at our own pace. We spent almost 4 hours at Uffizi, and barely looked at half of the displays. We could have spent all day there if we didn't have additional plans that evening.

Good place to visit. But too difficult to find operators to collect reserved tickets. Too big to see all in one day. Need three weeks
