Our guide was Matteo, he was terrific. Very knowledgeable and kept the whole family engaged. You could see how much he enjoyed sharing his knowledge with us. One of the best tours we have done.

The guide did not show up. We waited for 30minutes. No contact from them at all. It was my mother’s birthday present. Such bad service. Not even a email or call to cancel. Just left is there. Waiting on the refund

Rosie was a wonderful tour guide. She had great insights into the art in the gallery, especially the David statue. We learned a lot about Michelangelo too. Rosie was funny as well as informative so she made the tour very enjoyable.

This was a great tour, small group only 4 people with us. A little crazy going through the line and getting inside but our tour guide Pamela had inside within the 15 minute time slot.

We ended up with a private tour. Our guide was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the David and all the other pieces in the museum. She answered all of our questions.

Pamela is an excellent tour guide and whisked us around the Accademia. She is so knowledgeable. We could have used a reminder with exact meeting instructions as that was a bit unclear and caused a scramble.

My grandparents and I enjoyed this guided tour which hit the Michelangelo highlights (including, of course, David!) It was informative and interesting. Our guide, Francesco, was engaging and so kind. The guided tour definitely helped us appreciate the highlights, then we went on to explore the rest of the museum on our own after. It was the perfect balance, and the skip the line entry was nice as well.

Pam was an amazing guide. We appreciated that she made the tour efficient and interesting. We all felt like we left having learned new things that we would actually remember - versus absorbing so much information that it would be hard to fully appreciate it, as is easy to do inside a museum with such a profound body of work! The artwork and history is fantastic. Even without a guide, there are English descriptions on most of the placards.
Our guide did well, but admittedly hadn’t been in the gallery for many years. It seemed a little haphazard. We helped another couple link up with the guide, as the meeting location was very specific but random. An address was given, but was just a doorway without a sign or business to reference. We had to ask a few strangers if they were our guide, before ours actually appeared.

Fantastic. Our guide Pam was so knowledgeable. We were booked for a 1 hour tour but she spent more time with us than that. We didn’t use the ear phones so there were time where I had to lean in to hear her but that was ok. Highly recommend this tour.

Coming on this tour in November we were able to get in quickly without a wait as well as see the David up close. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and really great at talking about the sculptures by Michelangelo.

We were so fortunate to have our tour guide which ended up being a private tour. Perhaps this was because we went during the not busy season. Our guide was very informative. We prefer the guide tour compared to a audio guide headset that you can purchase at the galleria because of the wealth of knowlede the guide can share. Seeing The David in person is not something I can describe. The masterpiece is impressive by itself but the story of how it was created makes it even more beautiful. We enjoyed the length of the tour and had the option to remain in the galleria to view more on our own.

This is a quick way to get through the museum, listen to the guide describe some specific pieces and eventually get to the statue of “David”, which does not disappoint. Our guide, Hilaria, was excellent. This worked for us as we were going to Uffizi Museum which has many important paintings.
