Tour ran long, guide was knowledgeable but spent too much time at very few spots. We felt like we didn't get to see hardly any of the museum and wished the guide would have been more succinct with the highlights, moved along more quickly to include more things. The Uffizi has so much amazing art work that we felt cheated not getting to see more on the tour.

Tour company refused to provide a refund for tickets that was suppose to be free. Yesterday was international women's day and entry to the gallery is suppose to be fr but for women and we were told at the box office that they refunded the tickets back to the tour company, unfortunately, the tour office refused to refund us.

As we previously explained, the tickets our agency provides are part of a specialized booking channel, which differs from general admission. These professional tickets are not subject to the same promotions or temporary discounts as standard walk-up entries.
Regarding the refund, we would like to clarify that the Uffizi Gallery does not issue refunds to tour operators for these bookings. Since we have not received any funds back from the museum, we are unable to process a refund for you. For future reference, to take advantage of free entry days, tickets must be obtained directly at the museum’s ticket desk.

Had a great tour! Giovanna was extremely detailed and interpreted many pieces throughout the museum. The tour was a perfect pace and loved all the fun and new information Giovanna gave! There was still a wait (group line to get in) which led to the tour running over time. Plan on this possibly happening, I had not other plans for the day & Giovanna was great for still staying past the allotted time to finish the tour. After the tour you are free to roam around the museum on your own and catch things you weren’t able to stop at before. Overall a great detailed tour that was much better than going in without any information. Thanks Giovanna!!!

Due to the immense size of the collection, it is simply impossible to see the entire museum in the allocated 1.5-hour tour duration. The guide tried their best to show you the highlights and most significant exhibits within that timeframe.
Which is why, once the guided portion of the tour is finished, all visitors are welcome to remain inside the museum and explore the galleries at their own pace for as long as they wish.

This isn’t really a skip the line situation. It certainly did help to have a guide but there is still quite a line. It felt like too many people are given the same time. The place was packed and getting in felt chaotic. Our guide was very good but showed a limited number of items with detail. It would have been nice to have a bit more guidance on how to tackle the rest of the museum.

We were not able to open the app - it kept sending me a link but would never let me login to access my tickets. I tried to find the tour company and called the 800 number at Viator but was never able to get access to my ticket so we missed the whole thing.

Despite "Skip the line" booking, our group stood on line for 1 hour of this 1.5 hour tour. The guide was very good but the logistics were poor. We had to leave the group at 2:10 due to other plans and we viewed only 4 rooms with art. Very disappointed in the product we received for the cost we paid.

Skip the Line is a bit of a scam. There is no getting away from having to wait in lines to get in, even for groups. And I saw someone in the line to buy tickets who got into the gallery before me. So I feel as though I paid more than I needed to for just the ticket, although I did skip the ticket buying line. On the other hand - the gallery was impressive and I was glad I had downloaded an audio guide.

Buy entry ticket direct from gallery. It’s cheaper and the commentary didn’t add to the experience. Go at opening time to avoid the worst of the crowds. Guided tour is not worth the cost

Interesting things to see but our guide was difficult to understand( times where we had no idea what he was talking about)and boring- he seemed to be in a hurry( at the end, he hurriedly got the audio pieces and left)Never asked our names, didnt offer his name. This was our 6th tour on this trip- was most disappointed. Others were all 5 star except the tour guide who didnt show up.. We got more information from reading the placards than listening to him. I try to be honest with these reviews- as I appreciate getting information to help me make choices. So, should you book it? Definitely not with this guide, maybe another guide, its hard to tell

This was not a good experience for our group of 7. We purchased the skip the line & guided tour tickets. In hindsight, I would purchase the skip the line & self tour tickets.
First, there was no indication in the tour description of the amount of stairs there would. The party included several older women who would have greatly benefited from a working elevator. Some things can’t be helped, but notice on the part of Viator would have been appreciated. Second, the tour guide was difficult to understand, and in our opinion the tour provided too much detail about each piece of art for way too long. He was very nice and incredibly knowledgeable, but it was too in depth. He couldn’t read his audience, was not engaging with our group and overall was a disappointing addition to our trip when we’ve had excellent guides elsewhere. Third, the tour went over the time stated. Lastly, the ear piece was extremely uncomfortable. This tour changed my mind about needed a guided tour.
