Fast track quick tour 90 minutes then we lingered in the museum for another hour. If you want a more intensive experience, get the long tour. This was a good download of the early renaissance works and historical highlights. Guide was good and skipping the line was super on busy Tuesdays.

We have now taken seven guided tours of various museums and cathedrals. The Uffizi Gallery tour,guided by Anna, has been our favorite. Anna Was very knowledgeable. Instruct the correct balance between explaining the history and the differences in the artist techniques.,

We weren't able to find the guide and they started the tour without us. They told us to find their office which we finally did and then told us to go to the gallery and try to find the guide who had a blue ribbon around her neck. Good luck there. We never found her but enjoyed the gallery but we paid for a guided tour. We were not offered any refund.

Tour got off to a late start so not sure how much we missed. Suggest not waiting for people who are late. Not fair to the rest of the group. Otherwise tour was good.

We did the 9:30 tour. Our guide was so incredibly knowledgeable about so many artists! She was friendly, efficient and professional. I learned more than I expected, and I would recommend a tour with her ( I can't remember her name) anytime!

We booked 7 different tours and experiences through Viator in Rome, Florence, Venice and Como and all were excellent or exceeded expectations. This was the only one where the operator was unhelpful, did not have a sense of customer service, and made our experience worse and more costly. In retrospect, we would’ve been better off just getting our own tickets to the Uffizi and renting an audio tour which we ended up doing.

A Perfect Day of Art and Insight with Ilary – Uffizi & Accademia Gallery Tours

We had the pleasure of joining two small group tours in one day: the Uffizi Gallery and the Accademia Gallery, both led by the exceptional Ilary. At the Uffizi Gallery, Ilary masterfully guided us through the highlights of one of the world’s most important art collections. Her ability to navigate the crowds meant we saw all the most significant masterpieces within just 1.5 hours—something that would have been impossible on our own. Her insights gave new life to the works of Botticelli, Leonardo, and others. After the tour, we had the option to stay and explore more at our own pace. Later in the day, we joined Ilary again for the Accademia Gallery and Michelangelo’s David. Her storytelling was exceptional—she helped us understand Michelangelo not only as a genius artist but as a man shaped by his time, his rivals, and his personal journey. She connected history to the present in a way that felt personal and meaningful. A delightful surprise was the collection of rare and precious musical instruments included in the Accademia tour—another layer of Florence’s cultural richness. Both tours were inspiring, educational, and deeply enjoyable. Ilary’s passion, clarity, and talent for connecting with her audience made this a truly enriching day.

This tour was a highlight of our trip. Our guide knew a lot of information and was friendly and personable. Her English was excellent and she was easy to understand. We had been to the Uffizi before without a guide, and my husband and I agree that with a tour was the way to go. We learned a lot. Besides that, I booked the tour while jet-lagged for the wrong date. The office smoothly transferred our reservation to the correct time and day with no hassle.

Our Uffizi guide was knowledgeable and amusing. He covered an amazing amount of art in just an hour and a half. We spent another couple of hours in the museum with the same entry tickey.
