We really enjoyed Guido’s tour of the Uffizi. He included Florentine history, an excellent overview of the new features of Renaissance art, and context for some important paintings.

The experience was well organized and right on time. The guide was very personable and made the tour engaging from start to finish. Due to the large number of visitors, we did a fast-track tour, which was incredibly helpful. Despite that, our group remained small and enjoyable, which made the experience even better. For a first-time visit, I highly recommend it!

probably best to have a guided tour.. helps get through lines/queues/ security faster. please not e for this activity youre meant to go to the office which is about 300 m from the uffizi gallery entrance.. you can sit there comfortably while everyone qrivea.. you all get a headaet so yr guide can speqk via microphone.. tour was excellent.. took just under.2 hrs and covered most of the important works with good explanations.. when we attended march 26 lifts mostly broken so quite a few stepa to get to second floor. overall excellent

Tour did NOT last 1 hour and 45 minutes. It was an hour total AFTER navigating our way into the museum.
This was also after we were charged then asked the day before to change our tour time as there were not enough people in our time allotment.
Our guide Laura was knowledgeable and friendly.

Call me ignorant but I really didn’t realize how jam packed the Uffizi Gallery was with absolute masterpieces. The guide really does provide a lot of insight that allowed us to appreciate the artwork even more. You really cannot miss this experience.

Never got in. The line, while organized, was an hour wait before entering for a 1:45 minute tour. We left before entering so I’m not sure if the group actually got in before the tour ended.
I don’t think the tour company or guide is to blame as they said this venue oversells this so much this actually happens quite frequently.
Hopefully Viator will refund the tour?

This was a wonderful tour. The guide was very informative and helped us appreciate the history of and details in the paintings. This tour focusses on the second floor/oldest pieces in the gallery. The length of the tour allowed us to cover many of the masterpieces on the second floor without overwhelming us with information. We did not have to wait in a line to enter the gallery. The audio headsets worked well and were helpful given how busy and loud the gallery can be. Our group of three happened to be the only people on this tour.

We had a wonderful morning in Uffizi, it is definitely worth visiting. Our guide, Patrizia, was excellent & very knowledgeable. It made a world of difference to have someone explain the history behind the paintings & really brought them to life. It was also very helpful to be guided to the most important paintings in the museum. Would definitely recommend.

Alma did a great job helping us understand the history and context of Renaissance art. She intertwined history with art history and helped us understand so much more about what we were seeing. She also did a great job helping navigate our group through the crowded halls of the museum. Got a lot out of it!

In spite of a large crowd due to a strike forcing the museum to close in the morning, we had a wonderful experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and explained things clearly making the museum tour interesting and fun. It as absolutely worth it!

This was a wonderful art history tour. Francesca is very knowledgeable and passionate. The tour was on 90 minutes, so she concentrated on just a few important pieces that tell the history of the Italian renaissance.

Cancelled without notice due to a brief strike earlier in the day. No offer of a replacement tour, but did get a refund. Sigh.

Radio died in the beginning of the tour and tour guide did not have a spare, blamed it on the tour company Florence City Tours. “They didn’t give me a spare, I am just the tour guide”. Luckily I recognized another tour guide from the same tour company who carried a spare.
Uffuzi was very crowded! Tour Guide shared good detailed information but presentation was very mechanical and dry.
Cost/value did not deliver as expected.

Great guide. She was very knowledgeable and had a good personality. The tour only covered the top floor but it contained some of the more important artist. My wife was dizzy so I didn’t get to see as much as I would have liked but did catch the venician artist on the first floor before going to the entrance where my wife was waiting.

I had Sandra for our guide and she was absolutely amazing. Her knowledge of the history of the time and the brilliant pieces of artwork was outstanding. She went above and beyond. I was with my mother and she ensured my mother was comfortable. At the end of the tour, she helped us get our umbrellas back and even called a cab for us and stayed until we were all set.
