Great Tour with amazing guide!

Chibu_T, Jul 2026
If you're visiting Berlin, don't skip this tour. There are plenty of walking tours in the city, but this one gives you the background you need to really understand what you're seeing. Places that might seem like ordinary streets or buildings suddenly have fascinating stories behind them. Nir was a fantastic guide. He has a great way of bringing the history of Communist Berlin to life without making it feel like a history lesson. The tour was engaging from start to finish, with a great mix of historical facts, personal stories, and opportunities to ask questions. You could tell he genuinely enjoys sharing Berlin's history, and that made the experience even better. What I appreciated most was the context. Instead of simply pointing out landmarks, Nir explained what everyday life was like in East Berlin, how the Berlin Wall shaped the city and its people, and how the legacy of the GDR can still be seen today. It's the kind of insight you just don't get from walking around on your own. I'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting Berlin. It's informative, thought-provoking, and gives you a much deeper understanding of the city. If you get Nir as your guide, you're in for a great experience.

Our tour guide Cristobal was beyond words. So knowledgeable and passionate about history, that he made the entire experience enticing. Not only did he educate us on so many things, he extended his service about other recommendations when visiting Berlin, whether it be for educational purposes or just leisure. It’s people like him that are so perfect for the job!

The tour guide Marcel was very personable with everyone of the trip and well versed into the detailed history of the sights and stories of the tour. It’s a casual walking tour and good introduction into the Wall area in central Berlin

Superior guide.

Tina had Superior historical knowledge and was the best docent I have ever had traveling. She answered everyone’s questions while providing an extensive historical perspective from several points of view. I’m so glad I signed up for this and it would not have been as interesting without Tina’s knowledge base and positive personality.

Excellent tour

It was a very interesting tour, opening our eyes to parts of Berlin that we wouldn’t have necessarily accessed easily ourselves. Sophie, the tour guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. We enjoyed the experience.

Sophie was extremely knowledgeable and gave us a very comprehensive introduction. She was a passionate guide and did a lot of research on her own which was shared during the trip. Well done Sophie!
