Tamara was fantastic! This tour made for a fun afternoon catching up with friends. Sure, we could have just met for dinner, but this was so much more fun. We learned more about our great city and gt to taste lots of good food.

We had a great time and Marika was wonderful. The food was delicious and the company was delightful. Marika was very engaging throughout the afternoon.

A delicious way to learn about American history :) I was surprised at how much I was included. It was a great way to explore the area as well. All of the food was tasty!

Marika was a great guide. History and food in Baltimore's Fells Point on a Saturday night. A wonderful experience in Charm City. Eclectic food options and a great group of foodies.

The food tour was excellent! Our guide paced the trip and time at each restaurant to allow enough time to enjoy the food and talk with each other. She gave us some history of the area from its founding to present day. There was so much delicious food. We’ve been on other food tours in other cities, but this was worth the cost! I had planned to go to dinner or get a snack a couple hours after the tour, but neither of us could think of eating anything more. Do THIS tour even if you’ve gone on other tours before and didn’t like them—this one—you will LOVE!!

This area is lots of fun with great history & unique architecture with lots of cool bars & restaurants. The food was excellent and the portions were quite generous so come hungry. While not everything was native to Maryland, we loved the wide variety of foods and how they came to Baltimore.
Tymara was super friendly and incredibly knowledgeable about the area, the restaurants, and the food. We loved meeting some of the owners and managers of some of the places and learn their history too. This tour was definitely worth it, and we would recommend Bite of Baltimore to others.

The area is super hip. Love the history and architecture. Food was good. Guide was very friendly and incredibly knowledgeable.

Our guide, Marika, was sweet, fun, and knowledgeable. We loved the history and food was good. I was surprised that more Baltimore centric food wasn’t incorporated. The crab cake was delicious. Why not pit beef, crab soup, smith island cake, Berger cookies? As a tourist I didn’t feel like I got a good taste of Baltimore.

Marika, our guide, was a wealth of local knowledge. We learned more about Fells point than we expected. She was also a caring and attentive host. The walk was not long and even though it was hot outside, we hopped between restaurants so it never felt uncomfortable outside. There isn't really a theme, or tie between the food / restaurants selected for the tour. The food was OK. Something was really nice at each restaurant and the rest was Ok. Nothing was bad. Great mix of people attending and plenty of time to chat and get to know some new friends. We'll look for other tours in difference places.

Come hungry, couldn’t finish all the food. Learned lots of history about the Fells Point area. Definitely worth the money.

If you want to explore the flavors and history of Baltimore, Baltimore Bites with Tommy B is unbeatable. Tommy brings the city to life with his deep knowledge, charm, and passion for local food.
🌮 Cilongos
We kicked things off with delicious tacos and standout corn cakes — fresh, bold, and full of heart. Tommy gave great insight into the family-run roots and cultural background.
🦀 The Point
Waterfront views and amazing crab cakes made this stop unforgettable. Tommy shared fascinating stories about Fells Point’s maritime past that added real depth to the experience.
🥟 Everest Spice
Flavorful Nepalese bites, especially the momo dumplings, were a welcome twist. Tommy tied it all to Baltimore’s vibrant immigrant communities with warmth and knowledge.

We ended on a cozy note with pastries and handcrafted drinks. Tommy shared the story of this local gem and its focus on quality, closing the tour on a sweet, satisfying high.

This food tour was excellent! The restaurants Zach has selected serve generous portions with and excellent variety. We left with very full bellies, so come hungry! The wealth of knowledge about Fells Point was evident. Being someone who grew up in the Baltimore area, I was impressed by how much I learned. Whether you’re visiting or a local, I highly recommend trying Bite of Baltimore!

Amazing, loved everything about it. Zach was very knowledgeable. Knew baltimore history. Could have listened to him without the food. Lol. All the restaurants we stopped at were very friendly, great service and most of great food. Would definitely recommend.

Lovely food tour! Loved the history involved + all the variety in the delicious foods. Our host Marika was very kind & knowledgeable. The tour is located the most charming area of Baltimore that I wouldn't have otherwise seen. Highly recommended, also I left stuffed! Plenty of food :)
Response from Host, Apr 2025
Hooray! Thanks so much for the kind words!!
Andrew_C, Dec 2024
We loved our guide Thomas and three of the restaurants (the bar and the Nepalese especially). The Mexican restaurant was mediocre (for anyone from a community with good Mexican food) and the ambience too corporate.
Amy_K, Oct 2024
This tour exceeded our expectations! Our guide Simone was amazing..friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about her job. The food variety was good and very tasty (and they accommodated my vegetarian requests with no problem). We felt the tour was a great value for the price, and we highly recommend it!
