The tour was canceled due to not meeting the minimum number of people required. Able to reschedule and hopefully will get to have the said event.
Food and drinks are excellent with a very knowledgeable guide. Our drinks were excellent! Please enjoy this tour!
We did not go because I t was canceled by the vendor. I feel we should get a gift card or something. They canceled the day of this was a birthday gift. We had nothing else planned. Plus it will be 5 to 7 business days before I receive a refund.
My view may be skewed because we went on an outstanding food tour in Lisbon two weeks ago, but there was nothing special about this tour. There was no real explanation of why each restaurant was chosen and how the food and drinks served tied to Atlanta. The last stop was a chain bakery for desert. The food and drinks were good and the tour guide provided some interesting facts about Atlanta, but we didn't stop anywhere thatvIm dying to see again.
Tour review
Started off at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church. Beautiful. We even got to go inside. Built in 1902 & 1904, this church is one where ALL gather and doors are open to all. Tour guide said he was a little rusty and might need to refer to notes. Of course - Atlanta has a huge history to remember. We went to our first stop - chicken and waffles. Chicken was amazing - waffle was just ok. Also came with a lovely cocktail. That’s when it got interesting. Our tour guide asked if anyone was going to eat the last waffle and when no one wanted it he ate it. We also had a few non-drinkers so he had one of the cocktails, and then another. Next stop was pizza and beer. Pizza was delicious. Pepperoni, hot honey, got cheese - yummy. Again, he ate with us and drank a couple of beers. On the way to our next stop we passed the church and he started to tell us about it again and we reminded him we’d stared there. Next stop we saw Margaret Mitchell’s House and the Federal Reserve. We could have read the signs and gotten more. brunch was breakfast paella, tortilla, and potatoes bravas. It was so good! And…. Sangria. Which he had lots of since there were about five people who didn’t get sangria. On the way back we passed Margaret Mitchell’s house again and he tried to tell us about it again and we stopped him. It was just disappointing. I’ve had a tour almost in every state we visit and none of the guides drank. I don’t have a problem with one cocktail, but come on, your job was to entertain and inform, not imbibe.
It was a great tour, good food & drinks, very interesting sites & buildings! Lots of fun facts about Atlanta. Cory, our tour leader, was great!
Katrina was knowledgeable and personable. She connected with everyone on the tour so we felt included. Her background and training in restaurants makes her a great tour leader. The food and cocktails were an excellent mix of formal and casual. It was a fun and interesting way to spend the afternoon in Midtown ATL.
Great guide and great food on the tour. Nice group of people on tour. Corey was a great guide. So much fun.
Our first food tour, and it did not disappoint. Cory was a great tour guide and he selected a wonder mix of foods for us to try. Highly recommend doing this.
Cory is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. The food was wonderful and we would definitely recommend.
Really nice selection of restaurants and gives a good sample of what each Atlanta location has to offer. Our tour guide was hilarious and fun! Great experience!
Katrina was a fantastic host and guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We definitely recommend.
We walked through part of the city while we learned about the city, the university and historic buildings. We tried a variety of food and drinks. Our guide was personable, professional and kind.
I thought the tour guide Katrina was great, but I wasn’t thrilled with most of the food and cocktail options. Seemed odd that they would not only give you 1 food option, but that option would be spicy. I didn’t enjoy the cocktails either, with the exception of one. Tour was way overpriced in my opinion. On a positive note, I thought Terrence at the Georgian Hotel was so fun and knowledge. Best part of the tour.
This tour was great. All restuarants I had not yet experienced in Atlanta. Katrina was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I felt like we already knew her. Group was a great size for us to get to know eachother also. Learned so much history and saw places I plan to go back and visit. Highly recommend. Wear comfy shoes!
We loved the walking tour...the food was great and the tour guides were amazing! We really enjoyed the whole experience.
We had a great time. We were with a nice group of people, and Cory gave us a great tour. The food and drinks were delicious. Highly recommend!
Our guide was very engaging and very knowledgeable of the Atlanta area, landmarks and history. I enjoyed it all immensely!
Katrina was a great tour leader. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Would recommend and do another tour with her again
The food tastings and cocktails were amazing. Katrina was a great tour guide, knowledgeable, funny and very nice!
Great experience within a short distance, highlight of the tour was the Paella at Bulla Restaurant!.
Learning the history of Midtown Atlanta was nice since I just moved her. Like that's all I have to say.
Corey was an excellent tour guide. He was very knowledgeable about the city and the history behind the buildings. He was friendly and accommodating. The food was very good, and the drinks were excellent. We really enjoyed the sweet treat at the end. Although there was a lot of walking, I definitely didn't mind, and it gave us breaks between each meal. Overall, I think you have a great tour, and the meals aren't too heavy. Great job, and I will make sure that I sign up for another tour soon.
Tour was fun, tasty, and informative. We really enjoyed our tour as well as the group who we did it with. Our guide Katrina was friendly and knowledgeable about all the locations history as well as thier food.
We liked all the dishes we tried. Only negative we could come up with is that we wish pizza wasn't one of the dishes. While it was good pizza, we felt like there could have been a hundred better choices to showcase the local food scene. Pizza is a boring option that is available anywhere and just wasted an opportunity to try something new or unique.
Four women family members did the midtown food and drinks tour on a Sunday afternoon. Corey was our guide. We had a beautiful day for the tour which was a total of 10 people. Meeting the group was easy. Walking was easy and doable. The places visited were fun, the service great and drinks tasty. Corey was a wonderful guide with great knowledge of midtown and Atlanta. I’d recommend this tour to all!
It was a great tour that hit some really good spots. And the drinks were really good too. The portions were huge and I had to take dessert home I was so stuffed.
My one downside is that I was thinking it might be a little more traditional southern. But all the places were great.
Our guide Corey was informative and fun. Food was delicious. Great experience. It was wonderful to meet the others on the tour
Our tour guide was a lot of fun. Very knowledgeable and friendly. Got to learn a few things, definitely will recommend!
Corey was a fantastic host with 25 years of experience doing city tours in Atlanta, so plenty of stories & facts to share about everything Atlanta! I think the group ended up going over the normal time because everyone was having so much fun. The food selections were great, and there was a ton of Midtown history along the way. This was the highlight of my Atlanta trip.
We had a great time. I learned some intriguing history about some buildings that probably never would’ve know had I not done the tour. Katrina was an awesome tour guide.
