What are people saying about Anchorage

This was a great...
This was a great experience especially for a 1st visit to Alaska. Mark was an awesome guide. We saw lots of wildlife…several Moose ran across the road in front of us. We saw bears, ox, eagle, reindeer and others. We saw lots of waterfalls and had an excellent lunch at Base Camp. Take plenty of rain gear and make certain you wear layers.

The weather was not good,...
The weather was not good, rain, clouds and mist made it difficult to see many of the things they tried to show and discussed. That said, they did a good job trying to work with the weather conditions. The crew was very friendly and helpful. The best part was idling near the glacier waiting to ice to fall. While we did not see any ice drop, we did see a very small landslide. We will take a second trip next time we are in Anchorage.

Anchorage wildlife center, Turnagain Arm.
This was a relaxed tour. Ride a bit, get out and walk around a bit, look at scenery, back into van. Brooks was an excellent guide!! Ask for him!! Informative, fun and you can tell he loves his job!!! Wouldn’t do this again, unless it was with him!! In the last several days we have had at least 8 different tour guides. Brooks was by far the best!!! Set a high bar for the others to follow!!!

it was a 6 hour tour, there was a fair amount of time on the road. we had the best guide ever. Anna kept up a light commentary going through out , with a wealth of facts, intertwined with little personal anecdotes and stories, making it a truly engaging experience. i had not signed up for the portage glacier cruise, but then i got really wrapped up with all the stories and asked to sing in at the last minute. Anna organized it very efficiently and i am really glad i did the cruise. it was spectacular and well worth it. the best part of the day was the way back. we were a group of 5 and there was a lot of chatter and exchange . it was a clear day and Anna felt our enthusiasm and offered to prolong the tour and take us to Woronzof park. We saw Elk strolling along the road on the way which was way more exhilarating to see, than seeing them in the reserve!!!! we then we get to Woronzof park and we had the most amazing view of Denali. IT WAS SPECTACULAR. It was also so spontaneous and gracious of Anna. she really went above and beyond to make it an absolutely brilliant experience. i definitely recommend this tour and recommend Anna
