Brooks was an amazing guide! I would recommend this tour to others for an easy and comfortable way to explore Anchorage and beyond. Brooks was very knowledgeable in sharing facts and stories about the different areas we visited. Though the weather was not in our favor, Brooks safely navigated us to each destination. Sadly, we weren’t able to see the Portgage glacier because of the weather. The small hike to the waterfall was worth doing as the views were beautiful. Overall, would recommend this tour for the convenience and efficiency of seeing sights in and around Anchorage.

This was a great experience especially for a 1st visit to Alaska. Mark was an awesome guide. We saw lots of wildlife…several Moose ran across the road in front of us. We saw bears, ox, eagle, reindeer and others. We saw lots of waterfalls and had an excellent lunch at Base Camp. Take plenty of rain gear and make certain you wear layers.
Weather didn’t cooperate but we made the best of it. Our guide was knowledgeable and friendly and helpful.
Dustin was a great driver and showed us a great selection of views. He also had an eye for animals and was happy to pull over so we could watch!
Dustin was very enthusiastic and an interesting guy. We admired his dedication to his adopted state of Alaska. We had a great day thanks to his accommodating a diverse group. The bus was also very comfortable.
Great day out, weather not great but still did hike to glacier point, was definitely worth it. Great Chowder and Blueberry Beer for lunch 😋

Great excursion our guide was amazing Stephanie did a great job. It's my first time to Anchorage I would highly recommend this.
One adult, one senior, late August. Had a great time. Loved our driver/guide Davis. He was very fun, knowledgeable and patient with all guests. Highlights were Beluga Point and the AWCC.
Only concern was that our pickup time and details weren’t communicated until the morning of. I was very stressed the night before when I hadn’t heard anything from the company, afraid we had been overlooked or there had been a booking issue. Everything worked out and once we received the text from Davis that morning with details it went smoothly, but even a generic email a few days before letting us know to expect further instructions the morning of would have saved this over-planner a lot of anxiety.
Now armed with the knowledge not to expect contact until the morning of, I would highly recommend this tour. It was a great way to explore the area and animals around Anchorage.
This was an incredible tour, Dustin was fun and shared his inside info about Alaska. Loved the hotel pick up, hike to small glacier and the wildlife center. He changed our timeline after the bears came out just as we were leaving to give us a great time viewing them. His lunch suggestion was great too. Wish we had more time in the area to do another tour! Thanks
The guide was informative and it was a great excursion. Seeing the animals in their open closures was a great experience.

It was a rainy day so this turned out to be just a long van ride. 10 min to walk in the Conservation Center was more like a bathroom stop. The Center is beautiful and I was expecting to at least be able to walk there for a while, since the tour description said 1 hour there. This didn’t happen. We were dressed with rain gear. Then the driver was about to cancel the hike to the glacier. I wish I had cancelled the tour and rented a car to do the tour ourselves at our own pace. The driver, Jeff, was a great guy but some people in the group influenced the entire experience.

Great tour to see the highlights around Anchorage. Davis is an outstanding guide safely taking us from site to site filling the time with interesting info and memorable stories. Excellent variety of sites including seeing the spawning salmon, glacier view hike, lunch in Girdwood. The wildlife conservation center was a highlight not to be missed. Highly recommended!
Fascinating tour of the area outside of Alaska. We hit the weather jackpot AND the tour guide jackpot! Davis was an amazingly knowledgeable tour guide. He knew about native plants, the history of the area and of Alaska, so many things! The area outside Anchorage is stunning and we were so glad we spent our day exploring in this nice van. If you are looking for something to do while in Anchorage, do this tour. We got out several times, saw vistas, beluga whales, salmon spawning, fresh bear skat (😳), learned about so many native animals at the conservatory, and had a delicious meal at a local spot in Girdwood. Fun fun day!!
On my last day in Alaska, with this tour I covered the missed sights. Davis our guide was professional and very knowledgeable. Guide's narrations will make a big difference. The walk to Byron's glacier and the wildlife conservation are my favorites along with the drive in Turnagain Arm.
This was a great way to catch the highlights of the area in one trip. The small group group size was appreciated. Guide was knowledgeable and gave us additional stops at his favorite places. The description stated that binoculars were provided so we didn’t bring ours but there was only one pair to share so make sure you bring your own.
It was an excellent trip with a caring knowledgeable guide, whose first hand knowledge of the area made every moment memorable.

This was a fun tour with our friendly guide, Dustin. It’s a gentle tour with the option of a short hike to a glacier viewpoint, a visit to the wildlife conservation centre, scenic stops and a bird sanctuary, ideal for families and those who like to take it easy. Lunch at Basecamp in Girdwood was delicious - we can highly recommend the chowder!

Drivers are very knowledgeable. You can enjoy the views and ask questions. Tour would always be better if it was not raining, but there is not anything you can do about that but make the best of it. Which is what our driver did. Great experience!
This tour is amazing and very enlightening. So much to see and learn. Our tour guide, Elizabeth and her trainee Dustin, filled us with information and insight everything step of the way. Highly recommend!
This was a great way to explore Anchorage and surrounding sites on our first day in Alaska. Our guide Riley was on time, very informative and kept all guests engaged. The van was clean and fully stocked with snacks and water. We enjoyed food at our lunch stop during the tour. If you are new to the area, this tour is a great option to explore and learn with local guides. Weather changed a few times during tour and our guide adjusted the stops accordingly. We had an amazing time.
Although the rain did dampen some of our itinerary Riley made the best of our day and we weren’t disappointed. II had a great time. Was able to get beautiful pictures, had an amazing experience. I plan to be back and bring my son next time. Thank you Riley!
Pack your own lunch. Subway sandwich or greasy pizza are your choices too purchase lunch. Our guide, Shari, didn't seem too interested in doing the glacier walk, and tried to talk the group out of it a few times. We were disappointed in her presentation as she didn't seem to educated in the history of Anchorage.
The tour can be modified for rainy weather. Our guide, Mark, was knowledgeable and provided a fun and informative tour, despite the heavy rain and wind. We were able to drive through the wildlife refuge (can't do this on a big bus) and still saw lots of animals. People had the option to exit the vehicle for photos, while others stayed dry. When the rain cleared on the return trip, we stopped at a beautiful rainforest with a short walk to a waterfall. Mark helped us to make the best of a very rainy day. We definitely recommend this tour.

Our guide, Shirai, is amazing! She has perfect timing on our stops: catching the Alaska railroad at Beluga point, opening for Base Camp lunch, etc. She made sure everyone was comfortable and met their travel goals. Much appreciated Shirai and manager, Amie!
