Glacier hike
Very mild, easy hike. Short distance. Two hours total but it's mostly flat with lots of stops for picture-taking opportunities. We went in October, dress warmly. This was definitely the Alaska experience. Knowledgeable guide.

Fun day in the sun!
This is a fun experience. Our driver covered a lot of interesting facts and details regarding Alaska history and environment on our ride out to the glacier. Once there, the guide was a really fun guy. He had us out on the glacier for a couple hours and taught us a lot about the glacier and how it moves. He had a lot of fun things for us to do, including dunking our heads in glacier water (cold). He was very passionate about the glacier and the environment.

Glacier hike
We had a great time on the hike. It was a once in a lifetime deal. Our guide kept us safe and took us to excellent photo op spots. 5 stars.

Very interesting and informative.
Izzy was a great guide. She was very knowledgeable and fun and did her best to ensure that all the people on our tour had a safe and fun experience.

  • Unguided access to the glacier is only available during the summer months.

  • Guided tours include the use of crampons, helmets, and trekking poles—but it’s a good idea to bring hiking boots.
