This tour was amazing and was not for the weak hearted. We went over hills, rocks, ups and downs. It was thrilling! The view was breathtaking! Our guide, Andrew, gave us amazing facts about Native American culture, the flora and fauna, and just made it so interesting. He was personable, friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this tour!

We booked this far in advance and were really excited! The Hummer we rode in broke down about 20 minutes into the off-road ride. We waited about 45 minutes for other vehicles to reach us and finished the ride.
Christian, our driver/guide was awesome. He handled the situation beautifully and kept every calm and engaged, pointing out views, rocks, and plants. He is very knowledgeable. He knows how to drive off road and the ride was fun.
We were late getting back and the building was closed, no one from Sedona Jeep Tours even waited for this last group of guests to return after they had a breakdown which pushed our ride into after sunset. That seems pretty poor that they did that to their paying customers as well as to their employee.
Two days later Sedona Jeep Tours attempted to charge my credit card a second time for the excursion and thankfully Chase declined it, but my card was then cancelled because of it.
I want to stress that Christian was the very best and the negative aspects of the experience were all related to the operation itself. That Hummer is very old and had already been out four times that day. There was another one available so why use the most beat up one?
Very disappointed with the way this company operated this. I would recommend finding another company for your off-road excursion.

The vehicle we used broke down. They sent a replacement vehicle ( hummer) and it was lost. We were stranded for a long time. The issue at this point was restaurants close early and people were hungry. By the time we got back the restaurants were closed. The driver was good he did the best he could but it was a ruined excursion. Missed good pictures, went hungry, sat and did nothing for a long time. I expect a refund but by the time we got back their office was closed. For us it was even worst because we planned on driving to Vegas that night , it was so late we had to stop and get another hotel room. If they at least give us a refund I will gladly take the review down or adjust it. .

Our family of 5 did not enjoy this hummer experience. Our guide Jake had a corny sense of humor and lacked knowledge of the area. It was basically a very slow and extremely bumpy ride for 2 hours. The trip was an out and back so we saw everything 2x. While the views were beautiful, they were nothing more or better than anywhere else.

The trail / road is very bumpy! You could lose a filling from a tooth! Our driver - guide, Matt, was terrific because when the ride was too jolting a ride for us, he made a new plan. Matt was knowledgeable about the area, local legends, flora - fauna and was just fun to talk to.

What a great way to spend 2 hours in Sedona. Our driver and guide Austin was both entertaining and knowledgeable. We learned all about the rock formations and plant life in the Red Rocks.

We had a very good time on this Sedona Hummer Cliff Hanger tour. Austin was a great guide and a great driver.
He knows a lot about the desert and the vegetation and animals in it.
We had a wonderful time.
There were additional participants that were supposed to be on the tour, but for whatever reason they did not show so the tour much a private tour.
I would highly recommend Austin as a guide if you have any way of selecting the guide for your tour.

The Hummer Cliffhanger tour was a fun getaway into the nearby desert hills west of Sedona. The name of the trail is actually called Cliffhanger on signage, but the portions of the trail the tour goes on does not really have any dramatic cliffs. Many fun rock crawls to bounce and sway the hummer, but don't expect anything too dramatic.

Carmine was a great tour guide and added lots of humor and stories to the ride. It was a bumpy ride, so if you are looking for a smooth tour, "The Cliffhanger" is one you should avoid. The kids loved it.

My friend & I did this tour last week (Mar 27) Chris was our driver/guide and knew a lot about the desert. You really bump along a rocky path and hug the edge of a cliff. Don’t go if you have back or neck problems. We saw a lot of vegetation which Chris pointed out to us. It wasn’t just cactus which would have been fine with me. We were covered in red dust and had a blast. Only reason for 4* is I would have like more canyons rather than the cliffs. Great tour for first timers

Our Cliff Hanger tour was good but a little different than we were envisioning. We arrived 30 min early and check-in was a bit hectic with no available parking until the previous tours all cleared out. As I’m sure others are weighing options: we have done Pink Jeep on a previous trip but they were all booked and we figured we’d try something different this time. The rides/ruggedness are similar but the stops on our broken arrow tour were far more scenic and impressive than the cliff hanger. This tour goes to more of a forestry area rather than up in the mountains. However, it’s worth noting that this tour is about half the price which is a significant difference for our family of 5. All in all, an overall enjoyable experience and we were happy to support a local small business.
