The guide for our tour was a warm and a very knowledgeable woman - I learned so much. my only regret is that the tour wasn't twice as long because there was so much to see and I wanted to linger in front of the incredible artwork a lot longer than we had time for it. it was such an astounding collection.

Catacombs, Aquaducts and Appian Way

We went yo the Roman Aquaducts which the history is just amazing to hear about and see what’s left of them. The catacombs were the highlight of the trip for us. We would have liked a few more minutes though as the guide who took us down just walked through really quickly without giving us time to actually take it all in and look properly. The floor is uneven so you are busy watching your steps and being told to keep up so you couldn’t really soak it all in. The Appian Way is also full of history and it was a real treat to walk along part of the original highway. It was a great tour and would recommend to go do it!

Great crash course on essential eats in Rome

Our host, Sam, was fantastic! Very knowledgeable about the food and culture, he paid attention to everyone in the group to make sure we enjoyed ourselves. 4 stops with perfectly paced bites of delicious food, I enjoyed the whole thing. Rome isn’t all about the Trevi fountain and colosseum.

This walking tour was an excellent start on our first day in Rome. We enjoyed some sights we would not have visited ourselves. Dan was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about history and architecture. We loved the 2 churches and the papal gardens. I’d highly recommend this tour.

If you’re doing a food tour in Rome, this is the one to book. Our guide Maham was absolute perfection—brilliant knowledge of Trastevere/Roman culture and history, paired with a lively personality and a great sense of humor. Wandering through Trastevere with her felt like exploring the neighborhood with an insider friend! We ended up being a group of only the 4 of us in our little group. She was fun and charismatic. My husband and I have traveled a bit and have enjoyed many guided tours. This by far was our favorite.
