Our tour guide Max was...

Our tour guide Max was excellent and very interesting. He explained roman history and the progression of history during the forum. Sadly we were not able to get into the colloseum with the new policy, but that was not our tour guides fault. Overall I would highly recommend the tour in order to more fully enjoy the experience.

Great tour and tour guide! We even got to see the Pope!

Fabio was an excellent tour guide with so much knowledge and of art, history and religion too! He was also considerate and funny. It is a long tour, coming in after a long flight, but he kept me fully engaged. We even got to see the Pope (from a distance). I highly recommend Fabio as your Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica! Fabio also used individual ear phones, so we could all hear every word of his explanations, even if we became separated in the crowd. Most people did not have this and it really kept our group engaged!

Milestone birthday trip

Each destination offered something unique, from the breathtaking views and medieval charm of San Gimignano to the rich history and beautiful architecture of Siena. Seeing, learning, and walking 296 steps to the top of the Tower of Pisa in person was truly unforgettable. The tour was extremely well organized, comfortable, and allowed the perfect balance of guided information and free time to explore on our own. The scenery throughout Tuscany was incredible, and every stop felt like a postcard come to life. Our guide Luca was knowledgeable, friendly, and made the entire day enjoyable with interesting history, local insights, and a great sense of humor. The transportation was smooth and stress-free, making it easy to relax and enjoy the experience. If you are visiting Italy and want to experience the beauty, history, and culture of Tuscany in one day, I highly recommend this tour. It was worth every minute and created memories we will never forget.

Ambrose was our guide and...

Ambrose was our guide and truly remarkable, an unending river of information much to my delight. He touched on the more modern points of the Palatine grounds but spent most of the tour focusing on the far more interesting older aspects of Roman history. His passion and personal interest in the subject were very apparent and deeply appreciated. We would have loved more time with him and honestly wish we had done more reading and research beforehand so we could have engaged even more with the content of his tour. His sense of humor and genuine love for the material are easily his greatest strengths as a guide, and I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in Roman history.

Loved the tour!!

Tony was absolutely amazing. He took the time to pause throughout the tour and explain everything thoroughly, making the history feel incredibly engaging and easy to understand. This was my mother’s first time in Rome, and he was so thoughtful and patient — making sure she had plenty of time to take photos with both her camera and iPhone without ever making us feel rushed. His knowledge of Roman history was truly incredible. One thing we especially appreciated was how he would pull out his phone to show us pictures and visuals of what different sites looked like during the time periods he was describing. It made everything come to life in such a unique and memorable way. I would absolutely recommend Tony to anyone visiting Rome, and we will definitely request him again when we return!

We felt Special!

Matti was the best guide. He clearly knew the history as we couldn’t stump him with any question. The tour itself was very efficient as we kept moving through the crowds with ease, had special access to exits and entrance to certain parts of the museums and bypassed all the lines into the Sistine chapel and St. Peter’s. We felt special.

Mario was fantastic!

Mario is fantastic! We had a fantastic tour of with Mario as our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and passionate about the history, art, and architecture of the basilica. He explained everything in such an interesting and easy-to-understand way, making the experience so much more meaningful. Mario was also very friendly, organised, and happy to answer all our questions throughout the tour.
