You're at the Vatican. Soak it in!

It was very special having breakfast at the Vatican, especially because it was my friends milestone birthday. It would have been even better to have more time, but I understand they have other groups waiting. Loved the tour, I had been there before, but was extra excited and happy to see the Sistine chapel. It was closed the last time I was in Rome. Somehow I missed the big Vatican store. Be sure to get a map showing where it is if you don't get led there. We ended up staying in St. Peter's basilica extra time after the tour was over.

Don’t Skip This Tour! Highly Recommend

Such a great tour! Although there is a lot of walking and stair climbing, it is SO worth it. This is something you shouldn’t skip. Shout out to our tour guide, Ivana. She was so knowledgeable and had a true passion for history. There were amazing views, plenty of time for pictures, and lots to learn.

Great experience worth every penny

Maggie was a great tour guide with a vast of knowledge on all areas that we walked, even when some of the areas were unplanned due to how busy it was. The queue jump was well worth it given the speed of getting in compared to those queueing. We even got to take a shortcut to the Sistine chapel which looked to be closed but maggie is an employee of the Vatican City so security let us through. It was a great experience and well worth the money.

Best guided tour

Favi (sp?) led an outstanding tour of the Colosseum, Forum, arena floor, and Palatine Hill — knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about history. Our first stop was walking through the stadium entrance onto the arena floor — very dramatic, goosebump-inducing, as if you yourself were a gladiator and you could hear the stadium roar. Favi wove in rich historical context at every stop, sprinkled in current Roman anecdotes where appropriate, and thoughtfully guided us to shade before diving into each site's story, which made a big difference starting just after 3pm in the heat. Honestly, without a guide like Favi, it's just a pile of ancient rocks — she brought it all to life. Highly recommend if you want a smart, fair, and genuinely engaging tour of these sites. She was the best tour guide I had across all guided tours I took on this Italy trip. Highly recommend!

If you like Roman...

If you like Roman history, you can't get much more Roman than this. The audioguide provided quite a lot of good context for the stuff you see across the three sites that you wouldn't normally get from the placards on site, just be sure to bring your headphones/earbuds of course. Be prepared to do a lot of hiking across the Palatine Hill and bring a water bottle, but overall good value for money I'd say

Fun experience

A lovely and fun experience. Tour guide Ivan was knowledgeable and made the tour fun and interactive. He also answered our questions. I didn't realise the tour had come to an end until we reached the endpoint. A Big plus was the view of the sunset by the bridge at Castel Sant'Angelo (meeting point).

Great tour!

We loved this walking tour! We had a lot of fun and learned a lot. It was so nice to walk to city and see major sites at night when it was a little less crowded and much less hot. Our guide, Alena, was great! She was really nice, fun, and knowledgeable. The tour was a great mix of being taught by Alena and getting to walk around and see the site/take pictures for ourselves. We would definitely do this again, and I’d love to do another tour with Alena!
