Bit expensive but still worth it to skip the queue!

We were a little sceptical when booking as we didn’t have a lot to go off, there weren’t many reviews and was expensive but this was the only tour available left as we let it too late too book. We’re so glad we did! The queues were HUGE so when we got to the meeting point (their shop) a lovely gentleman met us and two other groups, and we all walked up to the museum entrance together. He made sure we all go in and explained how to get in as me and my partner needed different queue lines for the tickets they booked but that was literally for 2 seconds the rest of the time we were together. Like I said a bit expensive but we left it too late to book, was definitely still worth it as the queues were massive, we skipped all that and walked right in. Tryst worthy supplier and friendly chaperone to the front entrance.

Fabulous Tour and Guide!

My husband and I did this tour yesterday and had a wonderful experience. Our guide STEFANO was really fantastic and definitely made this a day to remember. He was knowledgeable, interesting and patient with my husband pointing out the variety of trees and vegetation throughout beautiful Roma. We were able to see and stop at all of the famous landmarks in Rome and Stefano provided details of each place. His English was perfect and better than my French husband who has lived in the USA for over 30 years. 🤣 Last we had the best gelato of our trip. We even went back later the same day. This is a fabulous tour and I highly recommend it. Request STEFANO if you can.

This tour was the absolute perfect experience for these must see sites! Giorgio (George) was our tour guide and he was phenomenal! He was extremely knowledgeable about the area and has been doing these tours for 12 years! He came around before the tour and shook everyone’s hand and got to know us a little! He truly made the tour worth it! He took us to all of the perfect locations for meaningful history accounts and great views for pictures and taking your breath away! You are given a small necklace radio to put on so you can hear Giorgio loud and clear no matter where you are in the pack! I honestly feel like this experience may be underpriced with all of the education, sites, and line cutting you get to do! Lines for every site to get into were all at least 40 minutes long! But we were in each area within 5 minutes! He also stated that you need to book a tour either early morning or afternoon, if you book between 10-1 everything will be packed!

Giuseppe is a great tour guide.

I took a small group tour to Vatican City, which included the Vatican Museum, the Sistine Chapel, and Saint Peter’s Basilica. Our guide was Giuseppe. He was a wealth of information, showed us all the highlights, provided great time management to make sure that we could get through our entire tour within the allotted time and most of all he was genuine and knowledgeable. If you ever have a chance to take a tour with Giuseppe, do it !

We just did this tour with Kiara and it was so much fun. She was a great tour guide and it's very coordinated. I guess the day we visited was typically a very busy day for them and after so many people they shut the gates at Pompeii, so they made sure to get us in before that happened which I thought was great. The guides at Mount Vesuvius and Pompeii were both so knowledgeable and it was a really pleasant day.

Vatican tour by Epic Art

Our map took us to the wrong Meeting place. We were told by the team that the steps had the same address and we were using the wrong map. We were frantically trying to communicate with the EPIC art team and barely made it in time. I think your app should offer better directions. I think you should add landmarks (like “meet at the steps look for our team with bright green T-shirts”). We really enjoyed the information provided by our tour guide. She was awesome!

Excellent tour and guide with some meeting confusion.

We loved this tour and learned a great deal from our guide Naomi! The meeting place is run by a different company which created a lot of confusion for us, and the guide didn't have a name tag or a way for us to identify her so that created more confusion at the meeting place. Once we connected with her, it was well worth it, but expect some confusion meeting the guide. Definitely pay for the gellato at the end!

Excellent experience!

Roberta was a fabulous guide! Very warm and welcoming and full of interesting information about the colosseum and forum. Our tour was scheduled the day both places ending up closing out of respect for a worker who had died on site. Despite the unexpected closure in the middle of our tour, Roberta was able to quickly pivot and still give us an excellent experience seeing what we could of both sites. And Crown Tours graciously refunded a portion of the cost to make up for the time we missed inside. I would certainly book with them again. Very professional and well-run.

Amazing. We did this as...

Amazing. We did this as part of our honeymoon and we can't imagine it being any better. We did the 3:30 tour that ended at the Colosseum, so we were there for golden hour and it was just incredible. Niccolo was a great guide, funny, informative, helpful. Palatine Hill. the Roman Forum, and all the ruins we saw first were amazing as well. Definitely would recommend doing it that way.

Excellent tour!

This tour is very art-focused, which we enjoyed very much, but some people may be interested in experiencing the Vatican from a different perspective. Our guide, Gaga, was SO knowledgeable, and provided very interesting background and perspective on the things we saw. Everything is stunning and there is an overwhelming amount to see, so we were very happy to have someone direct us to the highlights and tell us about what we were looking at, or what to look for. Keep in mind that this a 2 1/2 hour tour, so you will only have time for a small part of the Vatican Museums + Sistene Chapel. If you want to see more of the museums, you either need a full-day tour or to visit on your own. We definitely recommend this tour, though!

Excellent tour of Roman Colosseum and surrounding area.

Serena from Blue Cat Tours provided us with an excellent private tour (just two of us) of the Roman Colosseum, the Forum, and Palatine Hill. We were extremely pleased with our experience. She is very knowledgeable about the history and archaeology of this area and clearly enjoys sharing her knowledge with visitors. Logistics were flawless. She met us in front of the metro stop at the scheduled time and had all our tickets already prepared. This allowed us to skip most of the lines for the three venues. Her English is excellent and she was able to answer our questions as we travelled through the sites. She paced the tour well and adjusted on the fly if we wanted to spend more time in one area and less in another. She also made sure we had opportunities for water breaks and time in the shade as we were in Rome during the July heat wave. She finished up right at the three-hour mark and gave us a great recommendation for a lunch restaurant before she left. I would absolutely recommend Serena and Blue Cat tours for visitors who appreciate the history of this area and want to learn more. I should note that the tour does require a fair amount of walking and has stairs and inclines. The Colosseum does have an elevator but even so, wear comfortable walking shoes and make sure you have appropriate sun protection.
