- Children aged 7-18 are entitled to a reduced entry fee (see tour and ticket pricing) and must provide proof of age.
- Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. Knees and shoulders MUST be covered for both men and women. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
- Check-in is 15 minutes prior to the booked start time. Tickets are time sensitive and we cannot accomodate late arrivals.
- Important: St. Peter's Basilica is not included in all tour options. If you wish to visit the Basilica as part of your experience, please ensure you select a tour where it is explicitly listed as included.
- Guests with a certified disability of over 75% are entitled to free entrance to the Vatican and do not require a ticket. For guests who are not self-sufficient, free entry is extended to a companion.
- Please include all names as they appear on your passports when booking. Tickets are non-transferable and if the names on your booking do not match your ID you may be denied access and will not be due a refund. Any name changes must be communicated at least 72 hours in advance.
- Please bring official ID with you (or a photo/photocopy).
- Important: The ‘Basilica Only’ option it does NOT include access to the Vatican Museums.
- Important: From January 12 to March 31, 2026, conservation work will be carried out on Michelangelo’s Last Judgment (Giudizio Universale). The Sistine Chapel will remain open to visitors; however, the fresco will be temporarily not visible due to scaffolding. We thank you for your understanding during this important preservation project.

I really enjoyed this tour - Sarah was a great guide and very knowledgeable. The Vatican Museums are indeed one of the most visited attractions in the world and can often be extremely crowded, especially during peak periods. Nevertheless, our professional guides are experienced in navigating these challenging conditions in order to provide the best possible experience for the group.
We would also like to clarify that guests are always free to leave the group at any time during the visit by simply informing the guide and returning the radios provided for the tour.
At the same time, it is unfortunately not possible to stop independently at certain attractions and then rejoin the group afterward, as the guide follows a scheduled route and timing inside the Museums that must be respected in order to complete the itinerary correctly.

Used the metro. Can get crowded on these trains. Go straight to the steps meeting place but be prepared to sit, if you can, waiting for tour to start. Tour has priority so a good way to see vatican museum and Sistine. Was very crowded. Glad we started early at 9:30.. Guide Eddie was very good with various instructions including on where to go when he had to leave us in Sistine. Hard to hear commentary with competing talking. Worth doing this way though. Tour finished at entrance to St Peter's.

Our guide ‘Fred’ Frederico was excellent. Shared his knowledge and sense of humor with us. He kept our group moving along as all guides are instructed to do but do not necessarily abide by. So much to see and not easy with the vast amount of people. Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica are gorgeous and breathtaking. We can not imagine trying to move through the crowds during a busier tourist season.

Guide was excellent ( Fred), small group(10) the way to go , huge crowds, learned much more than going solo and Fred entertained us during waits. Skip the line just means skipping the general admission line. Still a lengthy tour line... and very expensive

Regarding the entrance, we would like to clarify that your ticket allowed you to skip the main general admission line, where visitors often wait for hours. The short wait you experienced was due to the mandatory security check, which applies to all visitors and cannot be bypassed. In your case, this typically takes only a few minutes compared to the significantly longer general queues.
Regarding the pricing, our tours include several elements that contribute to the overall experience: dedicated customer service support, the cost of the entrance tickets, the service of a professional licensed guide for approximately 2.5 hours, provider commissions, as well as the skip-the-line access and small group format.
All of these aspects are designed to ensure a smooth, well-organized, and high-quality visit.
