Private Mobility Tour in Rome

Alex made our private Rome in One Day “WOW”tour an experience our family will remember for years to come! We booked a private driver and guide because my mother has mobility challenges and uses a walker. From the very beginning, Alex went above and beyond, taking care of my mother with such kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. He treated her as if she were his own family, and that meant more to us than I can put into words. Unfortunately, our vehicle was rear-ended while we were stopped at a traffic light. What could have easily derailed our entire day never seemed to faze Alex. He immediately arranged taxi pickups and drop-offs for the remainder of the tour and made sure we could continue enjoying Rome. We visited the beautiful fountains, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel, St. Peter’s Basilica, and Colosseum. Even when we toured the Colosseum in pouring rain, Alex kept the experience fun and memorable. His professionalism, flexibility, knowledge, and, most importantly, his kindness made all the difference. We are so grateful we had Alex as our guide and cannot recommend him highly enough. Allain, our group guide was fantastic, explained everything in such fascinating detail and was clear and concise. He made the tour a lot of fun. The Capuchin Crypt was fascinating and so beautifully preserved. The Catacombs of Domitilla were equally fascinating. All tours highly commended including the tour of Sts Martin & Sylvester Basilica.

Great time in tuscany

Meet up was easy and well planned. The tour bus was clean. The tour guide was very friendly and informative. Spent time in two Tuscan towns and had a wonderful lunch with wine tasting / pairing. Time flew by. It was a great day. Bring battery pack, water, and a snack for the bus.

Wonderful experience

Klir was great, she was very informative along our trip and went out of here way to insure everyone was safe and enjoyed their trip. The trip was incredible, the history of Pompeii made you feel like you were there on that tragic day. Positano was beautiful and be ready for some exercise as you walk everywhere, but you don’t mind because the people are wonderful there. We enjoyed our trip and would recommend it.

Our excursion to the...

Our excursion to the Vatican was wonderful. There were any other groups there and it got a little congested, but our guide would find an open space and hurry us to it. She was great. Every excursion we book through Viator during our European vacation was excellent. We even booked a couple for the next day and a representative was easy to find with our tickets and escorted us to the skip the line entrance. We never had to stand in a long line. Some were with a guide and for others we were on our own. We will definitely continue to use Viator for any of our vacations.

Excellent! Highlight of trip

What an extraordinary experience we won’t forget!! We opted for the 6:30am tour with Marco and Andi who excelled drivers and guides. The early morning ride allowed us to see Rome before the throngs of tourists were afoot. Well worth getting up for early in the morning. Marco is an expert on Rome history. He was able to answer all our questions. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Our guide was from Rome and e remedy knowledgeable. He made the information really interesting even though he says it over and over. His perspective on history was quite refreshing. He was easy to understand and personable. We spent the exact right amount of time in each location. Small groups are the best. In larger groups you wait too long for people to use the bathroom and climb stairs!

We had a great time on this tour. There wasn’t as much walking as we expected, which made it very enjoyable. The stories were fascinating and really brought the history to life. Rob was an excellent tour guide, knowledgeable, engaging, and funny. We shared a lot of laughs throughout the tour and learned a lot of history of the city. Highly recommend this experience!

Great guides! I can't recall their names but both guides were extremely educational, knowledgeable, entertaining, and just a great experience overall. It was a bit challenging getting from one tour to the next, and trying to eat lunch as well, but we made it, with 10 minutes to spare.
