Delicious Good Tour!
We met our guide, Rosabla or Rose at the designated spot. She was holding her flag and easy to spot. What was nice it was a small group, just six of us. Rose talked a lot about the square we were in, Piazza Farnese, then we walked a little bit to a salumeria and tasted three meats & three cheeses that were just cut for us and some wine. She said it’s a place where the locals go. Quite delicious! We walked a little bit more and Rose spoke about the history and walked across to Trastevere and stopped in a restaurant for wine and suppli. That too was delicious and she spoke how it was made. We continued on and went to a trattoria for our main course. We had more cheese, ricotta with honey and bread. Then two different pastas followed by a meat saltimbocca and wine of course. Last but not least we went to Oteleg! which was right next door for Gelato, spelled backwards you get the name. We were able to get two scoops of any flavor in a cup or cone and fresh whipped cream. Everything was delicious and you leave very, very full and satisfied. Rose sat with us with each tasting to explain everything and the history of Trastevere. Great food tour and highly recommended!

Great Food and Wine Tour
This is a great walking, eating and drinking tour. Our group was small and allowed for easy conversation. This, paired with nice wines (red and white) and food, made for a very pleasant experience. The wines provided were local and very delicious. The pours were generous and appreciated. We learned about cheese, hams, wines, truffles, meat filled sandwiches, pizza and gelato- all wrapped up in the beautiful bohemian style neighborhood of Tratevere. Shout out to our tour guide Toni who was charming, energetic and very knowledgeable about all things food and wine. She made it that more special. Thank you Toni.

Eating in Rome is considered an art form, practically a religion—and that's true whether you’re chowing down on a supplí (oblong rice ball) or slice of pizza al taglio, or savoring a 3-course meal with wine pairings in a little osteria. There’s no better way to partake in local fare than by indulging in a Rome food tour. From sampling fried street food staples in bustling Trastevere or the Jewish ghetto to tasting wines in the Castelli Romani, food experiences provide an insider’s look at the city’s culinary culture and history. Aspiring chefs can try cooking time-tested recipes, too.
