- The ticket is valid only for the date and time reserved. We are unable to accommodate late arrivals due to a time entrance of the Vatican Museums tour voucher. Missed tours or tickets due to late arrivals are non-refundable. Changes cannot be made less than 24 hours before the activity starts. Please allow extra time to reach the meeting point as Rome's streets can be confusing. Meeting time is 15 minutes before the start time of the tour.
- A dress code is required to enter places of worship and selected museums. No shorts or sleeveless tops allowed. ALL participants MUST cover their knees and shoulders. You may risk refused entry if you fail to comply with these dress requirements.
- While the Vatican Museums are equipped with elevators for wheelchair access, they are not conveniently located on the group tour route and only give access to specific sections of the Museums. As a result, we cannot accommodate wheelchairs/walkers on this tour. If you have any kind of disability and a certificate to prove it, please let us know in advance, as you might be eligible for free entry.
- Passport/ID : Due to Vatican security regulations, we strongly recommend you bring a picture of your ID document with you for all participants, in case the Vatican guards check.
- We cannot accommodate service animals.
- Please notice that we are not responsible for the number of visitors the Vatican Museums allow inside.
- Large umbrellas are not permitted, please leave these at your accommodation.
- No pictures, videos, or even speaking is allowed in the Sistine Chapel.
- St. Peter's Basilica is an active parish and therefore subject to last-minute closures due to mass or other religious events. In these cases, we will offer an extended tour of the Vatican Museums (including areas normally not part of the tour). Please note that closures of St. Peter's Basilica can happen anytime without further notice. No refunds are recognized for unexpected closures.

While the tour is relatively long, you could span a day or two more exploring all the Vatican has to see. Our Tour guide (Elaine) was very informative and mixed in humor to keep all those in the group entertained.
I highly recommend purchasing the small group tour. This allows the group to move along and see many things that the larger groups have to pass by. Of all our tours that we have taken on this vacation Elaine made this the most enjoyable tour.
Her English is very good but sometimes it was hard to understand her because she is from England:-).

Wonderful tour with engaging, knowledgeable guide. Meet up and check in at their office was easy. Early morning tour worth it as allowed more space in rooms to see everything. Really need a tour to explain the artwork or you’ll just be passing by not knowing the full story. Beat the big rush to the Sistine Chapel and enjoyed the tour of St. Peter’s Basilica. Great tour however super crowded, of course no fault of the tour company. Elaine did a great job of navigating the group through the main points of the Vatican. Just a place that should be experienced over multiple visits, one section at a time, unless you're into things like crammed elevators or commuter trains.

The Vatican Museums are vast and are home to approximately 70,000 works, with around 20,000 on display at any given time. The tour group personnel didn't require people in our group follow the dress code. Multiple people had shorts on, scooter skirts, dresses showing their knees. The sign up email firmly states no knees or shoulders showing. And we were long pants, and sweated thru it. Only for the guide to say. "OH they're not as strict on dress code" complete opposite of the written instructions on the website

Vatican rules require that shoulders and knees be covered; whether the guards are lax about the rule is not up to us. However, the onus is on us to relay this information to guests before the tour. Furthermore, we state that "(shorts down to the knees)" are okay, so in no scenario did we specify that long pants are required.
It is unfortunate that, from the overall experience, this is the aspect of the tour you chose to leave a review on; something that is entirely out of our control.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with our golf cart driver, Phillip. He was kind, professional, knowledge, and went above and beyond to make our tour special.

This tour was a really neat tour. I'm well educated in history including the history of Catholics. I learned so much more from the tour guide, his name is Jeb. If you every wanted to know some interesting information about the Catholic Church and it's history that isn't in text books anywhere.

We’ve been in Italy since September 1 and we have taken two tours per day (over 15 tours) This was by far the best tour we have had thus far! Our guide, Cinzia was absolutely amazing!!! The tour was a 3 1/2 hour tour and we were concerned that we would not be able to last for the whole 3 1/2 hours, but she kept things moving, was very informative, and made the 3 1/2 hours go by very quickly. She kept us ahead of groups so that we would pretty much have a private small group tour. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things about our guide. She was the best!

Before our trip to Italy, I had read a few books about Michelangelo—in Korean, of course! But seeing his works in person while listening to our guide, Cinzia, made everything I had read come together in a completely different way.
We didn’t have a lot of time, but Cinzia made every minute count. She was so passionate about the art and history and made sure we didn’t miss the stories and details that really mattered. You could tell how much she genuinely loves what she does, and that made the tour even more special.
I left the Vatican with an even greater admiration for Michelangelo—not just for his incredible work, but for his life as well.
And one last thing… as much as I admire Michelangelo, I have to say, I absolutely love Raphael’s paintings!

We had a great English lady called Elaine as our guide she was so good all the way through. I wear hearing aids so cannot use earpiece that goes into ear so she got me small head phones so that I could easily hear her commentary. She bought everything to life and so made it very interesting. We were a small group and she kept us close together so she was able to manoeuvre us into places with close views .

Visiting Rome during summer definitely comes with its own challenges, such as warmer temperatures and lots of crowds due to it being the high season. Nevertheless, our guides do a good job of finding shaded areas whenever possible and navigating the crowds seamlessly, so the overall quality of the tour isn't affected. You're a real trooper for making it through the entire tour!
