Awesome day trip with Pisa!
Took a day trip while in Florence. If you have the time I would highly recommend it. It was a great way to see a lot in a short period of time. It was a long day but totally worth it. Saw 3 cities and then the leaning tower of Pisa. Great tour. Great guides. Lots of energy and laughs. Also learned a lot too! If you have the time book it!

Our visit to the...
Our visit to the Accademia Gallery was one of the highlights of our family’s trip to Italy. Seeing Michelangelo’s David in person is truly breathtaking, but what made the experience exceptional was our guide, Gayla. Gayla’s passion for art and history was evident from the moment the tour began. She brought the gallery to life with fascinating stories, historical context, and details that we never would have appreciated on our own. By the time we stood before David, we understood not only why it is considered a masterpiece, but also the incredible vision and craftsmanship behind it. To make the experience even more memorable, we had accidentally missed our original tour time. The team was incredibly accommodating and quickly found a place for us on the next available tour, turning what could have been a stressful situation into a seamless experience. That level of customer service was greatly appreciated. If you’re visiting Florence, I highly recommend taking a guided tour of the Accademia Gallery, and if you’re fortunate enough to have Gayla as your guide, you’re in for an unforgettable experience.

This was super fun and so goood to do as a family Ionna was fabulous running the cooking class and we all loved the food we actually prepared! This is a really great value experience with two types of pasta and tiramisu to eat, we were super full. Along with the wine of course ! The Aprons were a great touch 😀

Duomo in the HEAT!
We did the climb in mid-morning on a day where temp was to be 40C! The climb was hot and stifling but still worth the effort. There is no stopping so having a knowledgeable guide to educate on history is very helpful. The volume of tourists forces continuous flow through the dome. You will get very short time to enjoy view and pictures. The knowledge of our guide and his clear speaking were a great benefit.

All stone villages, olive groves, and cypress trees dotted around rolling green hills: Tuscany is where all your Italian countryside dreams come true. And when it comes to its cities, Florence, Siena, and Pisa have enough Renaissance architecture to make your Italian urban dreams come true, too. The best way to discover the region’s history, countryside, and cuisine is with a guide—and there’s no shortage of Tuscany tours to help. Go wine tasting in Chianti, get the lowdown on the art in Florence’s Uffizi Gallery, visit the Leaning Tower of Pisa, see the best of Siena on foot, and more.
