What are people saying about Fairbanks

David was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I was so impressed that he seemed to be able to see the lights before we did. Soon enough, they came out just like he said. He took us to several spots and took great photos of us with the lights. He is very passionate about what he does and im so glad we toured with him!

Maybe next year!
I could not see the lights, it was cloudy. We knew it was going to be a hit or miss. The guides were fantastic. They tried everything they could to find a pocket opening up. The experience was really nice. I got to mingle around the fire and meet different people, have delicious Alaska coffee and hot chocolate.

The guide was very...
The guide was very helpful and communicative throughout the experience. We received text message updates, and when I asked about parking at the pickup location, he gave me a very helpful suggestion. He also arrived on time that evening to pick us up. The place where we stayed for the tour was beautiful, nicely decorated, and had a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. There were snacks, coffee, water, and other drinks available, which made the waiting time very comfortable. Unfortunately, the weather in Fairbanks was rainy for several days during our trip, and that evening was quite cloudy as well. We waited until after midnight, but unfortunately, we still couldn’t see the Northern Lights from the original location. Instead of simply having us continue to wait, the guide suggested that we try other locations where we might have a better chance of seeing the aurora. He then drove us to different spots and continued to follow the weather and viewing conditions throughout the night. Whenever there was a location that seemed to have a better chance of seeing the Northern Lights, he was willing to drive us there and give us the best possible opportunity. Fortunately, we were able to see the Northern Lights that night. We probably needed the help of a camera lens to capture them better, but it was still a wonderful experience. What impressed me most was the guide’s attitude and dedication. He didn’t simply let us sit and wait all night. Instead, he actively followed the conditions, kept looking for better opportunities, and made every effort to help us see the aurora. We really appreciated his thoughtfulness, patience, and effort. His dedication made the experience much more enjoyable and memorable for us.

Sultran was an excellent driver. He definitely knows his job and is very good at answering questions and telling details of the roads he travels. The weather wasn't great for our road trip, so he had many things to pay attention to and did a great job at balancing all of it.Told us stories and shared videos and pictures with us after our excursion. I was pretty nervous about spending that amount of money, but I'm glad I invested it with Sultran. He earns his pay, for sure.
